Anyone know what’s going on with ATF right now? Haven’t been able to use all day, site just seems to be gone?
Well, damn. I just sat down to mix and it's down for me, too.
This is what I get for not archiving my favorite recipes as offline versions.
Yep my wife just read me the riot act for not having a backup, she needs juice and I have nothing written down anymore!
Downloadable juice calculator ftw. Put your recipes in once and you're good for life.
That is how I started and glad I did. These online calculators are great and all but if the owner decides to just up and quit or becomes incapacitated in some way all will be lost. I think both ELR and ATF should have 3 or more owners each in case the main honcho decides to quit it can be passed down to the next.
The one smart thing I did this year was make 4oz. one-shots of my 5 most-mixed recipes, with the ratios for 60ml bottles printed right on the label, but, of course, I mixed all of those yesterday!
I needs me some Mango Sticky Rice & Coco De Leche to combat my seasonal affective disorder, though! :-(
Someone finally called Q and told him it was down about two hours ago.
This is hopefully good news because some Facebook groups were talking shit like he forgets to pay the bill, is only in it for the money and doesn’t care if it’s gone, I wasn’t thinking that way as I’ve been using it since inception but got scared, literally used it last night. Once it’s back I need to save my favorite mixes.
It’s been 4 years and I still don’t make my own so losing so many precious recipes people have put up would be a shame. Although many are here, it would take digging. And then the ones that aren’t here. Ugh
Thanks ID...
I would have posted earlier but I was giving it a chance just in case it was an outage or something simple.
I know a couple of posts got removed earlier because /r/DIY_eJuice is not https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ .... I guess /u/EdibleMalfunction got tired of playing whack-a-mole with them and left yours up?
Anyway, outages happen, but this is the second extended outage in two months. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a new recipe site. It would need to be ATF 2.0 and not ELR 2.0 for me, though.
You can still get to some of it. Google the wayback machine. It takes snapshots of websites. Not every link will work, but most of them from recent snapshots should. :)
Looks like the most recent snapshot is from September:

Don't talk bad about ATF or the ATF Mafia will come after you.
You can't even bring up the fact that it's missing the whole VSO flavor line with out being crucified.
Who would crucify you for that?
Some people were given the power to add flavors some time ago, with a two step process for one person adding and another verifying to keep it from becoming a cesspool of nonsense like some other recipe sites, but the developer never gave anyone the ability to add a new brand, which is extremely frustrating since he also apparently won't take the time to do it himself.
Crucify me, too, whoever gravyleg is talking about.
I just got some VSO flavors for the first time and am excited to try them and would love to be able to add them to my stash.
Same here. It would be so much more convenient than having to use stand ins for a bunch of recipes and hoping that I pay attention whenever I come back to revisit them. By the way, I've only been able to try the strawberry so far, and it's got a very nice juicy sweetness to it that makes it seem like you've just bit into a really juicy fresh strawberry
Well as I understand it this project is run by one guy as a hobby, not even a main job. That being said I'll give 'em a day and if it;s back up I'll push my membership through as I originally planned. If not resolved within 24 hours but the Admin shows some transparency and updates folks I'll push it through as well. That being said the second downtime in such a short period makes me glad I hadn't become a member... yet.
If he doesn’t come back up, is he keeping the money? I don’t think two days of service warrants keeping a years fee. I’m super bummed.
