OK, I got pg, vg, flavoring and vape bottles and graduated droppers from Amazon. I'm pretty sure I didn't get the best deals on everything, or get the most for my money. But you have to start somewhere, I am saving a lot of time and money, and am pretty happy with the results.
I mixed 10ml of PG and 10ml of VG in a 30ML bottle, then added 3ml of strawberry flavoring. Then shakey shake shake shake. No nic which made things easier. The wife likes it, I think it's OK just a little sweet but can deal with it.
Being able to pull it off on the first try was pretty huge for me. It's been a while since hs science, but it was pretty easy to measure things out. Thank you Mrs. Whateveryournamewas who probably hated hs me... you taught me a skill that I actually needed and used.
Congratulations - you've just taken your first step into a larger world :)
It just gets easier from here. You'll likely go to using a scale which is even easier, and get into more complex recipes involving 3 or 4 flavours, and you'll be looking back wondering how in the hell you ever thought this might be difficult. :)
What flavoring did you buy from Amazon? You can't use just any flavoring. Have you read the FAQ thread?
Great question! This is something I've been considering and researching for a while. And I've read some of the faq and wiki here but not all of it. I bought and used Capella strawberry. Also got some Capella raspberry but have not tried it yet.
If you were trying to save money, Amazon isn't the best place to buy those things.
I started DIY by ordering from Amazon and bought the whole cappella silver line pack for £32 and some strawberry ripe for £2 and now I have about 170 flavours that took me 10 months and I have learned so much since I started so good stuff and keep it simple and learn as you go. 👍
Use liquid nicotine wholesale for VG/PG/flavoring.
Well, that would be better than some rando reseller through Amazon marketplace, but there are much better options
I’ve been using them for years and really enjoy their products.
It’s better than Amazon ans I’ve had no issues with them. Just a suggestion.
River supply co is a decent place. Reasonable prices one stop shop. Takes forever for it to process and shipping. Took about 11 days or so but FedEx did lose my shipment for a few days so say 9. Btw what happened to FedEx. Didn't knock left it middle of hallway almost trip over it. The pg vg is cheap plus nicotine solution is also cheap. DIY supply's are reasonably priced like bottles can even buy a scale, but don't you want better scale then that one. Capella, tfa,fa, stay with those 3 for first few orders imo get some ws-23 at least can pm any questions you have
Congrats on your first batch!!!! I really hope that you had a good time, I have really enjoyed mixing and it is great when I see someone else enjoy it as well. :) It is way easier than people think, and it only gets easier and better the more you do it. :) If there is ever anything I can do to help I would be happy to try to lend a hand. I also make videos for people if they learn better visually, if you ever want to see something before you try it I would be happy to try and put something together for you if you ever need it. Welcome to the wonderful world of e-juice making, I really hope you enjoy it and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Happy vaping :)
Congratulations on your first batch. ! Check out Bull City flavors and River Supply If you don't already have a profile setup on a liquid recipes. Their calculator and forums are really useful and you can get a look at a lot of different recipes 2 checkout trends and find usage percentages. He'll see a lot of. Really good notes and suggestions there on those recipes Join a couple DIY groups on Facebook and maybe even grab a mentor there. Welcome to the Hobby.
Oh my, another in the rabbit hole.
3% INW Shisha Strawberry 2% FA Red Touch (Strawberry) 1.5% JF Sweet Strawberry
The JF will be the hardest to get. I got mine from ecigexpress. You never did say what strawberry you mixed solo
Next step is buying a scale, the AWS lb501 from amazon (its $20). You will save so much time, have A Lot less to clean up, and will be far more accurate with your measurements.
I don't know what Strawberry that you have, but if it's TFA, add some Vanilla Bean Ice Cream to make Mustard Milk by Fizzmustard. It's a simple recipe but quite delicious. I mixed up my first juice about 3 months ago and I'm totally addicted, I already have over 100 flavors.
