A long time ago, I tried an e liquid that I can best describe as tasting like a Welch's mixed berry fruit snack. I am trying to find/recreate that flavor. I have not gotten into any DIY flavors before. I was planning on using an unflavored shortfill, and mixing in a flavor concentrate. Is this a good idea, and if it is, can someone recommend a flavor that might be right for this?
I'm not sure exactly what Welch's mixed berry fruit snacks taste like, but if you are looking for an extremely versatile berry flavor that you can literally just use by itself and get a very good juice:
FA Forest Fruits!
I liked it so much when I started that I bought 4oz of it and I'm still not sick of it. Here's a super simple recipe that I started with and still enjoy:

I grew up around an absolute ton of "import" stores, so I had quite a bit of Japanese food and candy options as a kid. Forest Fruit is smack dab, spot on for a flavor of chewy candy I remember from them days. Never had it or tasted it since, until cracking open that bottle one delightful treat of a day.
...it was a far better candy than anything I ever made with it, though. :(
Personally I think cap harvest berry tastes a lot more like fruit snacks than fa forest fruits does. It's more of a candy berry flavor and it even has some of the waxy gummy aspect on it's own
Probably some sort of gummy would do well for that. Maybe 27 bears or one of the other gummy candy flavors (think a few by wf are solid). For berries you have a good variety, FA forest fruit is definitely where you want to start. Cap blueberry Jam, FLV Boysenberry, & the blueberry trinity all worth looking into for that profile. You have quite a bit of options in the way of berries though, they are usually best with a bit of lemon to brighten them up. I like FE (or SC) Lemon a lot for berries.
I would also add FLV Jammy Berry to the mix
I was actually just considering forest fruit. Thanks! This gives me a great place to start.
Cappella harvest berry is a great choice I enjoy using it from mixed berry recipes.
Absolutely, love me some CAP Harvest Berry. Also JF Forrext Mix and FLV Jammy Berries are both very good. I get sick of FA Forrest Fruit pretty easily. TFA Berry Mix is not good, neither is FM Berry whatever.. VT's mixed berry flavor is alright but a bit waxy IIRC.
