Quick reminder that our flavorings are great for making candy too
submitted over 5 years ago by Rotor_Tiller

Just wanted to add that some of our favorite e liquid recipes make for great candy. I made some grack hard candy earlier with inw cactus and grape and it turned out great.

I think it is completely irresponsible to promote something that is as dangerous to children as hard candy. Hard candy claims another underage choking victim every 17 minutes! Stay safe, and vape your flavors instead.

Quick reminder that our flavorings, for the most part, ARE candy flavorings, so of course they'll make good candy.

That‘s a nice reminder;)). You can also use them for baking, cooking, in milkshake, coffee or whatever. Countless yummy applications.

It's been fun. I also discovered that FLV Rich Cinnamon may in fact be the recipe for hot tamale candies (Red Mike and ike looking things). I made sure that the syrup never got over 270F to get the same chewy consistency

Omg making hot tamales at home?!? I am sold.

It was so good with powdered sugar to make it less sticky. I probably used 1/8tsp of Rich Cinnamon for a 4 cup batch and it turned out rather strong.

Could I use them to flavor alcohol?

Also great for making flavored sex lube!

Instructions unclear. Homemade Jolly Ranchers now stuck on peepee. Send chisel and bandaids.

Chisel ill advised. Use dog.

goddammit, that made me full-on guffaw and now my coworkers are staring at me.

Oh, yeah, they were staring at me too. HR counseled me on workplace nudity apparently being a bad thing, and management revoked my kitchen privileges to boot. On the bright side, there was less bleeding than I expected.

Especially the coolants can produce some very interesting sensations when applied to the genitals, just be careful not to use too much...

I was going to mention something similar to entice oral sex.

I don't think entice means what you think it means

Some people are into chocolate covered bananas. Mine's organic, low calorie and full of flavor. Weight watchers will love it.

I used my captain crunch in some home made waffles last week. FW Cookies n Cream was by far the best waffle I've tried. I should really try my capella waffle haha.

I make cold brew coffee with FA Hazelnut and INW Shisha Vanilla and it is beautiful. Another bonus is that about 2 weeks worth of coffee costs less to make than a single large cold brew from Tim Hortons.

Still love Tims though

Stop loving Tims please. Tims does not love Canada anymore they can fuck right off.

by DaddyPigSmokeJuiceover 5 years ago

Oh? We're in Belfast and our local Tim's has all sorts of Canadian trappings on the walls, they seem like they love them a bit

It's all lies. They're owned by a Brazilian corporation now. Food has gone downhill for years, and there was a huge issue with a bunch of franchise owners losing their shit when minimum wage went up. I go to McDonald's for coffee now lol.

How much do you use? Any certain ml to oz ratio?

by lordefinesseover 5 years ago

I drop it out, personally. If I make a somewhat near full chemex flashbrew, I’m only putting 3 drops of Shisha Vanilla or Vanilla Swirl in there tops. That’s just me though.

What is a chemex flash brew? Is it only like a cup of coffee?
Ok wow so it’s a lot more diluted than juice either way.

No, I just wing it. Usually about 3-4 drops each per pint glass is enough for a little flavour without overpowering the coffee

Marshmallows!

If you haven't ever made your own homemade marshmallows, do it. Ones from scratch vs ones in a bag is like ... Um ... Buying your vape juice at Walmart vs making your own. I dunno. It's early. But they're amazing.

For extra fun, dip your flavored marshmallows in chocolate

And cocktails! I'm a strawberry non-taster so save my collection for a cheeky drink

Yay! A use for all those strawberries I can't taste in my juice.

I used my juice to oil some squeaky hinges the other day. Works pretty well on clippers, too.

Talk to me more about how much concentrate you used per x amount sugar?

2 points

by Rotor_Tillerover 5 years ago

I just use the same amount that a recipe calls for with flavor oil. Seems to go good. I used 1/4tsp overall last night on 1.75c sugar, 1/2 cup corn syrup, and 1/2 cup water.

Dont add flavoring until the pot is 300f and off the stove element. Mix slightly then pour into a tray with foil over it to prevent ruining a tray. If you dont have a candy thermometer, occasionally pour a drop of the syrup into ice water. It'll bead like glass when ready.

Hmmm. May have to make up some grack base to try this. It sounds amazing.

1 points

by Rotor_Tillerover 5 years ago

I personally just used 1/8 tsp of inw cactus and another 1/8tsp of inw grape. Came out like a familiar tasting candy, but family think it's because I vape so much grack anyway.

Probably for candles and soap too.

I made a blueberry cheesecake with an almond flour crust today and used FW Graham Cracker in it. Best one I’ve made, yet.
