Hey everyone!
TL;DR at the end.
I'm ready to go for the DYI option, I vape a lot and in my country anything vape related is expensive AF, so I'm doing it mainly for cutting costs, but I like DYI stuff in general,
So, I don't have a ton of flavor options around here, so doing premade recipes is pretty much impossible at the moment, so I've bought a few that I would like to make single flavors or simple mixes. Initially, my idea is trying some chocomint and chocolate+passion fruit. (I'm into both these flavors on sweets, lol).
I also tried a DYI juice with koolada, and I liked it, so if I can add that too, it would be cool. I currently own the flavors listed below:
- Double Chocolate - CAP
- Vanilla Custard - CAP
- Milk Chocolate - TPA
- Koolada- TPA
- Menthol Liquid - TPA
- Sweetner - TPA
- Passion Fruit - TPA
TL;DR: Help m,e make chocomint and/or chocolate+passion fruit with the flavors listes above. I just want ideas on proportions of each.
Thanks in advance!
I feel you. Everything in my country is expensive too. I haven't made a chocolate recipe yet but usually single flavors go well. Also you can make a cheap juice for vaping just with 1% menthol and 2% sweetner. It's a good simple juice with no taste, just sweet to vape once in a while for those who cannot spend much.
Also you can throw those flavors on https://e-liquid-recipes.com/ search and see what juices people have made before! Gl
You’ve probably chosen one of the hardest profiles to make, especially for one of your first mixes! I’ve been trying to make a good chocolate for ages without the limitations you have with getting hold of flavours and it’s really not easy. Is there any other profiles you like?
Maybe you could try cap vanilla custard with tfa passion fruit? I have no idea how that would turn it as I’ve never tried that passion fruit. I found one place that says to use tfa PF between 3-8%, but again I don’t know from personal experience.
If the custard/ passion fruit combo isn’t any good then the custard by itself is pretty tasty. You can use CAP Vanilla Custard pretty high especially if you mix it by itself. I’ve tested it all the way up at 10% and it was fine but maybe you won’t need to use it that high even if using it alone? If you’re going to mix it with other things you definitely want to use it lower otherwise it will over power everything.
You want a great chocolate mint recipe? Fine.
1% menthol
2% FLV Creme de Menthe
3% VT Chocolate Mousse
You may want some VT Devon Cream and/or INW Mix Mint in there, depending on what exactly you like in your chocolate mint.
If I thought you had BF Chocolate Truffle, I'd suggest using it, devon cream, and FLV CdM, but...
Not too familiar with most of them or chocolate flavors, but single flavor Cap Vanilla Custard is a banger!
I'll give it a try, thanks!
Oh damn man, I just realized I had Double Chocolate a long time ago. I had it already mixed in, so can't talk percentages, but it needed a long steep and it raped my coils. Tasted fine, as far as I remember, like a hot chocolate that's not too strong.
Hope that helps some.
You can't really mix a chocomint without mint flavor. FA Mild Winter and INW Natural Mint are some good ones if you can get them, but pretty much any peppermint flavor will go better with chocolate than straight menthol.
Also if you can, get TFA Double Chocolate (clear). TFA Milk Chocolate is very dry and chalky.
I would strong recommend against using CAP Double Chocolate. That thing is a vile mess that will probably leave your mix tasting like plastic and dirt.
If you have access to Vape Train, then consider something along the lines of VT Chocolate Mousse. And of you can get Flavorah, then switch that TPA Milk Chocolate out with FLV Milk Chocolate.
Gonna be tough. You don't even have a halfway decent chocolate (like TFA DCC) let alone a good one. Straight menthol is probably your only decent option.
