Hey guys, happy New Year! So to get down to it, I have recently picked up a flavor I've been very pleased with: Villain Vapors - Capone, a vanilla tobacco. I have never been out selling any tobacco flavors in the past, but this makes me want to explore and see if I can make something similar and also what other great Tobacco mixes I can make. So my first question is, with there being plenty of Tobacco flavors out there, are there some that are staple for sweeter mixes like this? Also, what else should one use to make the tobacco pop? I see a lot of bourbon and different woods that sound like it would make a great mix, though I don't want to blindly pick up concentrates if I'm able to get advice!
I would love to hear about your guy's favorite tobacco mixes, as well as any insight into what you think is worth picking up as far as concentrates go. Thanks for reading, I am looking forward to doing into uncharted territory (for myself)!
Thanks in advance for mixologists!

FLV Cured Tobacco is nice with vanilla. I've been enjoying Cubanamel and Dark Leaf recently.
If you want to try something different, FLV Apple Filling is great with tobacco. Cabin and Early Autumn Pipe are terrific.
Edit: Dark Leaf and Cubanamel aren't what I'd call sweet. FLV Cured Tobacco is fairly full bodied.
Aye, thanks for the shout out for Dark Leaf!
I can't stop vaping it!
Edit* I will warn that FLV Cured @4% is a coil killer, but I actually like the way this recipe tastes on a black coil. It becomes more smokey, and more like a lit cigar.
These are some of my favorites from when I started mixing.
I love this and want to follow this thread! I’m on mobile, how can I do it? Sorry, I’m old y’all!
I would check out a couple of the Episodes of Noted where they focus on Tobacco flavors and specifically Flavorah, really hard to go wrong with them:

Did you want an RY4 style tobacco or a tobacco tobacco? There’s a nice vanilla tobacco recipe on ATF called ‘The Gindra’s’. Its 3 flavours and super easy. It’s a tobacco tobacco if that’s what you were looking for?
I completely agree on ‘the gindras’ it’s a really easy 3 flavour banger that shouts tobacco. I get almost none of the shisha vanilla but it’s like dipping your nose in a pouch of drum tobacco. Not my favourite tobacco note but ultra realistic all the same
It’s the only mix I miss if I don’t have it every day- I did increase the %s a bit just because I really like strong tobaccos. That FLV Sweet and Smokey is so nice.
I honestly think FLV sweet an smokey was a game changer for me as far as tobacco goes. As close to an analog ciggie as I’ve ever tried. Only been vaping tobacco’s for the year , I spent the 7 years before that’s avoiding tobacco at all costs vaping fruit an beverage vapes

This is the only tobacco vape I still use. It's been in the rotation a while. Some hate M type, but it works for me in this recipe. I occasionally use DIY Flavor Shack Holy Vanilla for the French Vanilla.
Good flavors to mix with tobaccos:
Butterscotch/caramel
Booze
Coffee
PB/nuts
Cinnamon/spices
Dark berries
Chocolate
Mint/wintergreen
Oak/woods
Banana/coconut(creamy fruits)
Great tobaccos for dessert tobacco mixes:
FLV Red Burley (nutty flavor)
FLV Connecticut Shade (coffee/chocolate flavor)
FLV Native/FLV Tatanka (complex)
FLV Oriental (spiced flavor)
INW 'for Pipe' flavors (vary)
INW tobacco symphony (nutty)
INW gold ducat (sweet)
There's a Capone recipe on elr. It's not exact taste but fairly similar in flavor. I'm trying to mess with that recipe to see if I can get it closer to the original. Definitely a great starting point though.

Julia su (admin over on chefs Facebook group )has some good recipes and her vanilla tobacco is a very morish vape. The shisha vanilla ,vanilla swirl and holy vanilla combo fills out the staple tobacco mix (red burley-sweet an smokey) perfectly an gives a great mouth feel and thick overall vape. It’s a great one
