#You thought I was about to tell a dirty joke, didn't you?
As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.
#This week's flavor is.... JAM!
How did that get to be the FOTW?
It was requested!
If you're not interested in the upcoming FOTWs, please take this opportunity and comment to request one that interests you (or send me a PM to do that).
Past FOTW posts can be found here
The NOTED podcasts, which are basically video FOTWs, are listed on this sheet, maintained by /u/apexified
And you can find these and more in a comprehensive collection of Flavor Facts created by /u/OdieDoodah

Unrelated, but I am disappointed by the lack of puns.
Also unrelated ..I'm drunk. Happy holidays?
I can’t jelly my puns up your ass
What’s this commie happy holidays shit? Don’t you know you’re allowed to say Merry Christmas now? President good brain, in his great and unmatched wisdom, hath made it so.
Also quite drunk wooooo
I have trouble getting blueberry to hold it's own against cheesecake and other dairy bases. Any recommendations for a syrupy, sweet blueberry jam?
Have you tried VT Bilberry Ripe?
My friend has been desperate for me to come up with a close clone for Jam Monster's Grape Jam on Toast.
I know that they used RF flavors that are no longer available, but I was hoping someone knew of a recipe that came close!
For the grape aspect, I'd try a combo of Purple blush INW, Moscato FLV and Grape FLV.
Side note: RF sold their recipes to another company. Forget which one. I'll be back after some detective work.

Seems legit, but it's a Canadian site, which means I will have to come up with some more money for shipping. Still not too bad.
Hopefully I can gather some cash for this before they run out!
Is Golden Butter as good a pairing with some Jam related flavors as it sounds? Should I just try it and find out? I guess I'll just do that and report back.
I need to review all that. I think I’m late to ry4 game.

I want to try this, but with TFA Vanilla Custard II instead of TFA Vanilla Custard: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/134966#ry4_custard_developed_by_developed
The original was damn good. What diff you think 2 will make?
It's a different vanilla so it will taste different, I don't know if better, but different. It will definitely get rid of that peppery thing with the TFA Vanilla Custard. I loved the original even with the peppery bit, but it would be nice to see how it is without it.
