So iv just made my first 4 bottles of DIY juice. I know I am to let them steep for a couple days/weeks but am I to give them a shake every so often? I made citrus punch, pink lemonade, blue Raspberry and orange & tangerine if you wanted to know
In my experience, just provide a good initial shake to where you can clearly see a bunch of very tiny bubbles. Almost to where you can’t see through the bottle.
After that, just let them do their thing in a dark place.
Your liquid should be a good shake and vape though. Fruits don’t require —if any— steeping unless you added creams to them.
It doesn't hurt to give a daily shake but I'm not sure it's necessary. It's Important you shake it up real nice after you just mixed and topped it off. Like WouldRatherComment said about the tiny bubbles and for me when the bubbles are gone I shake em up again. I don't think there's a right way other than giving them the needed time to just sit. What I will do is drip like a ml in a RDA every couple of days to see how they're coming along so far. I Usually keep three or four steepers and three or four SNVs around and take notes as the week(s) progress
Citrus flavors tend to lose their pop over time and fruit flavors rarely need a steep, so I’d say you should be trying them out right now.
There’s no real science to the shaking other than knowing that we’re discouraging separation.
I shake new mixes every few days, but just because it makes me feel better, idk that it makes any difference in the long run.
It's not going to matter if you don''t (i do - but i think it's just habit :) ) - But do give it a good shake BEFORE you open the lid each time you take some out of your bottle ESPECIALY with fruits. It's better to pour some into smaller bottles to use each day than to use the bigger bottle to fill or drip from. Open it as little as possible with fruits and shake well before using each time.
