My first attempt
submitted almost 6 years ago by deja_blue-fl

I've been vaping since around early 2008 but this is my first attempt at mixing my own juice. I've been lurking and studying here and other forums to learn and want to thank everyone for the great information.

My first mix turned out great, just a simple TFA peach juicy and FA white peach combination. I will have to work on doing better about exact amounts, I was using a scale but got a few things slightly over.

Looking forward to experimenting with more flavors and learning more!

It's easier to get exact weighs once you start mixing larger bottles of successful recipes. When your making little 10ml samples its damn hard not to over or under shoot a concentrate here and there!

Especially when it calls for like .25%.

Yes I just did a little 10ml for my first try, I'm glad to know it's not uncommon to overshoot on those tiny things.

Yeah 10ml mixing is a bit of a nightmare unless you have a really really nice scale and some syringes with tips that allow tiny drops. I’d suggest 30mls to start off with unless it is a flavor profile you’re not sure about

well since it's my first mix ever, I'm not sure about any of it! I'll just take it slower and more careful next time but I want to make certain I'll like my mix before I graduate to larger bottles.

Fun!

Do you like menthol? Cause I've got a random really old not amazing recipe I could send you that is based on those two peaches! Twas a couple of years since I made it but the missus used to love it.

Much appreciated but I'm not big into menthol, thank you though!

That being said... It works well without menthol too... It's just that for me to be able to use the name I gave it there kinda has to be menthol in it.

IMPEACHMENT! :D
