Is there any company that sells flavors in very small quantities? Like 1 or 2 ml. I am very new to DIYing and I want to make some popular recipes and of some flavors I just need very small amounts to give them a try, so it will be nice if such thing existed. Preferably with shipping to Europe, but I can get around that so mention anything you know.
The Flavorer's Apprentice has packs that come with 4ml bottles of a bunch of flavors.
> I want to make some popular recipes
You nailed the small quantity part but most popular recipes aren't all TFA.
Also it would actually cost less to buy 12 10ml bottles from BCF than it does to buy 12 4ml bottles directly from TFA.
Ya, the idea was not paying more for less, if not paying less to try a small quantity and know if It is for me or not. I'm quite surprised with some reactions in the thread that think that It is nonsense. It is like is written in stone that the smallest container in the Planet that can contain a flavor is 10ml period.
It makes the most sense for the vendor and consumer. Selling less than 10ml means that almost no one is going to buy it unless it's the very first time they're buying it. But for a lot of flavors 10ml at a time is a perfectly fine amount to have on hand e.g. if you have a recipe or two in your rotation that uses the flavor but not an ADV, or it's a flavor used at <1%, etc.
Also a lot of these suggestions are US vendors... check out the list of vendors (plenty of EU/UK vendors to choose from) Chefs, Nomnomz, and Rainbowvapes all have good prices and will be a lot cheaper for shipping.
OMG could you imagine someone buying that "DX 12 FLAVOR PACK"? 🤢
Lol... I was actually able to get my mom to switch to vaping with a menthol tobacco recipe that included some DX Bavarian Cream, so I was grateful I still had those in the back of my cabinet.
Sounds crazy. Can't even label a 1 ml bottle. Plus if some place would even do that. When you would go to scale the price you'd end up paying $15 for 10 mls. The absolute reverse of saving money. Think about it. If you're gonna take all that time to fill up 1 ml vials. You're damn sure gonna rip some motherfuckers off to make it worth your while.
Sure it can be labelled, you just need a small label to do It and put the name of the flavor in it.
When there was a place doing that in my country, they charged between 2 or 4 times the cost of the ml of 10ml bottles. Sure they were buying big bottles and the business was there. For me if I don't like the flavor is a good deal as the spare quantity will be worth nothing and if I like it no prob buying a big bottle after. I just like to try lots of things, and say my budget is 100$ for flavors. Spend 50 tryings lots of recipes and the other 50 in the ones that were succesfull, just think how many recipes I can test with 1ml of say 40 or 50 flavors.
I can see your point. I just read as many reviews as I can and try and gain as much knowledge as possible about what concentrates I'm interested in. Then I make an informed decision and buy a 10 ml bottle. Can't remember when the last time I bought something I couldn't use or like. Plus my eyesight is going. I can't be stunting on myself and buying any micro bottles. Is it a flavor? Or a tracking device I'm supposed to stick in this ho?
$100 & a sale will get you 40-50 10-15ml bottles most of the time.
There's usually a good one at least 1x\month.
Not that I’m aware of. 10-15ml is the standard “small” size. Most flavorings are only a few euro/dollars. Wouldn’t be very economic for companies to go smaller than that. It’s probably cost them more than it’s worth to bottle flavorings any smaller than that.
I was not thinking of getting them in bottles if not in laboratory vials. I know the producers don't sell that but maybe someone rebottled. There was a Spanish web 5 years ago that did that at 1ml. It was very useful. Someone should take on the business, I am sure there is some demand.
Check out wizardlabs.us. they sell quite small vials of most common flavors. Used to use them all the time when I was starting out. 8ml I think is the smallest. But that's really the smallest I've seen and they are cheap so you can go nuts.
Thanks. I'll have a look.
10ml is the smallest that I've seen. They can often go for less than $1.50 each. If they were less than that, you'd probably pay more for the bottle and shipping, than for the flavoring itself.
Don't worry about having extra. They last a while, and if you end up not using them completely, they certainly don't cost an arm and a leg. Especially compared to premade eliquid.
I'm fairly new myself. My suggestion is to find a few higher-rated recipes that have ±4 flavors. Try to avoid unique flavors like "Siberian purple kumquat" or anything like that that you will probably never use in a different recipe. Yes, I made that name up, but that's beside the point.
My favorite ADV is a Root Beer Float with 4 flavors, including the sweetener. Simple, but delicious.
Take it a step further and skip flavor concentrates altogether. Flavorless weirdly has a nice flavor and is a great ADV.
Ive been vaping unflavored. Been vaping since 2012 and just got bored and tired of finding the next flavor, tried unflavored 2 months ago and its nice. I just want to vape nicotine.
I've been vaping mostly unflavored for about 2 years now. For a while my coils lasted so long that I didn't believe that they were still good, and changed my cotton after a month to have it come out looking good as new.
I'll mix some flavorings (at half the flavor that I make for others) if my working bottle of nic is getting a bit harsh, but usually it's just unflavored (although I do mix flavored for my high nic pods).
It's a dollar fifty on average for a 10ml flavor...You'll probably pay more for smaller bottles lol.
About 7 cents, buying only 100... https://www.amazon.com/Siumir-Plastic-Centrifuge-Container-Attached/dp/B07JH84KCC
Im talking about with flavoring in it, generally speaking the larger the volume the bigger the discount, expect to pay a premium for a smaller volume.
diy-ejuice based in BC Canada, has 3 ml size, I got one as a free sample
diy-ejuice dot com has over 1,000 flavors; all available in 3ml size.
In case OP reads this, I just did a comparison with NicRiver for INW Biscuit.

Vendor | Size | Price
---|---|----
diy-ejuice | 3 ML | $2.95
NicRiver | 15 ML | $2.49

Ya, I check it already. I gave up and will buy 10ml of like 40 flavors. Just hope everything goes well and I like most of them, I selected them carefuly based on ratings, my taste and what recipes I can make with them. Now the cart is full and I am just waiting for a discount to come. Thanks to all for info and patience.
