Okay sorry about having to take this down but I encountered a small issue. As far as development it all started with figuring out what would work as a lemonhead. My starting point was adding 1% marshmallow to 2% fe lemon and while it did help make it creamy it wasnt a lemonhead. Fast forward some and I was working on a lemon meringue recipe and light bulb moment meringue + marsh + lemon = lemonheads! That really was the hard part in developing the recipe and just needed some balancing from there and to figure out the lemonade part. Tried making my own with lemon Sicily and jf sweet strawberry but didn't work out. Finally settled on 5% lb pink lemonade and eventually decided to try fe lemon a little higher and it works. Please mix this up I really would like some feedback as it is very close to the original in my opinion but we suck at judging our own creations so let me know how I did and I will remain open to criticism. Much love to all my fellow mixers and hopefully this scratches that lemon twist itch!

3% FE - lemon
6% LB - pink lemonade
2% TFA - marshmallow
1% FA - meringue
0.5 - 1% Cap - super sweet
I'm unfamiliar with using super sweet....is it actual sweetener or another flavoring. Sorry if thats a dumb question.
It's fine buddy the makeup of sweeteners can vary a little but 90% of the time sweeteners are made of sucralose. Brands like capella, flavor west, and flavorah sweetener are made of different blends of sucralose. This is the only type of sweetener I would reccomend using for a new mixer.
I appreciate it. I love lemon twist so much but it was such a coil killer. Ill stick with this brand though. Thanks for the lesson friend.
Becareful using it thought too much and it can start muting your recipes
I'm trying to not use at all if I don't have to.
Think I could sub the LB pink lemonade for CAP?
This is my all-time favorite juice, but I'm on disability & certainly can't afford to buy it. Here's my version:
8% LA Lemonade 5% INW Lemon Concentrate 0.5% TFA Ethyl Maltol 0.25 DIY Stevia
I've only posted here once, so please excuse me if this post is in error. I'm an old hippie & am learning as I go. 😁😎
Smart using the old inawera lemon cus it was the best lemon by quite a margin. Unfortunately it has been reformulated and is no longer good at all. I love old hippies man congrats to the long life lived and being smoke free (cigs at least) :) nothing wrong with hitting the bowl a few times a day. I would kill for some old inawera lemon so use it sparingly!
I made a batch of this today. It smells and tastes very similar to pink punch lemonade. Thank you for this awesome recipe :)
I'm sure a few days steep will improve it but it's actually pretty close after just being mixed. I'll head over and give it a good rating.
Have you ever tried FW Natural Lemonade? It's so spot on its insane. May be a good starting point for Lemonhead Part 2 lol.
This is absolutely spot on man! Lemon twist and melon twist honeydew were my ADVs for a year before I started DIY and this is 99% perfect if not 100. Thank you so much for sharing this! Any chance you have any ideas on their honeydew? I've been trying to clone it since I started, but I haven't been able to get too close. I think they use TFA Honeydew 1, but I haven't figured out what to put with it besides super sweet lol
I actually didnt even know they made a melon twist to be honest. I actually quite enjoyed cloning this one though and am glad you enjoyed. If I ever get a chance to try the melon twist I might give it a wack but do they even make it anymore? Thanks for leaving a review on atf much appreciated.
I was leaving a review while you were responding lol. I really appreciate your hard work at this! And yeah, as far as I know they do. It's still at the stores I used to buy from, and I'm pretty sure I've seen it on element recently. It's called melon twist honeydew melon chew. I highly recommend you try it since you like the lemon one, as long as you don't mind a sweet candy honeydew. It's delicious. Thanks again!
So i randomly got my hands on some honeydew melon chew and I think I can clone it...my guess is it literally is tfa honeydew or honeydew 2 + tfa watermelon candy and prolly 1% super sweet...if you want an exact clone thats what I would use but I am gonna try with some better ingredients first
