Yet Another Damn Fruit Mix

IDEA: It came from a commercial juice I used to vape that combined strawberry and apple. Yet I wanted more than just those two ingredients in order to have complexity. And I was shooting for this to be a 1-2-3-4 recipe. It works as a shake-n-vape (SnV). I will add after each ingredient (in parenthesis) a link to the week of my single-flavor thread's notes.
4% TFA Ripe Strawberry (Week I)
3% PUR Country Apple (Week VII)
2% FA Forest Fruits (Week IX)
1% TFA Juicy Peach

DEVELOPMENT NOTES:
Beyond the single flavor tests, there wasn't much real development involved. Overall, this is my 3rd attempt at some kind of fruit medley. This mix probably isn't going to satisfy those using pods or even atomizers that are mouth-to-lung (MTL) style only. I tested this out on the Theorem RDTA with two 28 guage SS316 coils pressed together and acting as a parallel wire coil. It usually ranged from 0.37 to 0.39 for resistance; vaping in power mode at ~18 watts.
It seemed lacking. Initially thought maybe some enhancers would be a good idea while not really having any. Then thought about upping the percentages. First considered adding 1% to each. Doing so might change the contrast of the flavors, so a few days later (when making a new batch), actually kept the ratio consistent by going to 6 to 4.5 to 3 to 1.5 on the percentages [6:4.5:3:1.5 of the above flavors in descending order]. No sweeteners were added in either mixture, both being 20mL volume with 70/30 VG/PG ratio.
Going to leave this as a 1-2-3-4 as a recipe for those with much better taste-buds and better atomizers. For those not enjoying this, use 50% more of each flavor as I'd mentioned in the previous paragraph.

THOUGHTS:
It's not as strong as commercial vjuices. Which is good. And certainly not near as sweet. When first mixing the 1-2-3-4, it smelled totally delicious. Unfortunately the flavor doesn't quite match it. I guess I could place a drop on my vaping hand? Can safely say that the stronger mix is more enjoyable. I did change to a 0.67 to 0.69 single 27 gauge SS316L coil for the higher percentages. Thinking that the higher resistance is robbing me of some flavor. I did switch to Temp Control (TC) mode and noticing it improved slightly. The stronger mixture uses percentages very close to what were used as solos. Again, great smell, but the taste isn't equal to it.
I am NOT REALLY tasting the forest fruits. The raspberry and blackberry are not distinguish-able. Forest Fruit was NOT my initial planned choice. Was going to use TFA Sweet Raspberry. Was not wanting any noticeable tartness, so subbed FF out for it instead.
Can occasionally pick up on the peach. Seems like it meshed really well with the apple. The strawberry isn't over-bearing. It was kind of my goal to have the strawberry-apple quite prominent. At times, wish I could taste the berries more. Perhaps swapping the percentages of the apple and forest fruit mix would achieve this? Maybe will try this by the 5th or 6th batch.
Reasonably sure that someone could sub out FA Fuji for PUR's apple concentrate. Maybe even use CAP's Double Apple in place of it. Can not speak to the percentages a person should use with those two.
The recipe(s) do not come across as sour or overly citrus. So it's easy to enjoy as an all-day vape (ADV). The first 20mL bottle (the 1-2-3-4) lasted less than 3 days. This is extremely heavy usage for me. But a lot of this may have been my changing from tobacco vjuices in prior weeks. Possibly might be a more well-rounded fruit assembly if adding in pineapple and/or mango. Doing so could give it a more Juicy Fruit gum-like flavor... be that good or bad.
At the higher percentages which I feel are aimed at pods/MTL attys, seem to be getting some light "sugar lips". It isn't coming across as either a juice or a candy. Leans more toward a no sugar added jelly, without the sticky gooey-ness. The combination of all flavors listed produces a very clear liquid. This means very clean cotton even though your coils will eventually gunk. Expect reasonably good coil life though.
Not for me tbh but what a great break down of how what and why , I think what you have displayed here is the perfect brief on a recipe many thanks for sharing I think a brief like this will help all diyers
Is forest fruit similar to harvest berry from capella?
IMO, not really. Forest fruit is a lot brighter, I get notes of apple, pear, strawberry, and a bit of blueberry from forest fruit, whereas I get mostly blueberry with a bit of raspberry from harvest berry.
But then again, to me Harvest Berry is literally identical to Berry Mix from TFA, which many have disagreed with. I haven't tried them singly, side by side (because I honestly don't like either), but they smell the same to me, and they've done the same thing to my mixes.
Never had Harvest Berry. Had to look into it since you'd brought it up. It might work. You might want to read up on it yourself here.
