Do any of you guys have chai tea/latte flavors you like?
submitted almost 6 years ago by Reapingday15

I tried this https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/203457/Chai%20Latte recipe and I'm waiting for it to steep, but I was wondering if you guys had some others that you liked. Especially since that one doesn't have any comments saying that it's good or not lol

Also, if you have recipes that use the flavors listed in that recipe I'd be excited to try those as well

There are a couple red flags there to me.

One is that OP never updated. They've had 4 years to post that 24 hour steeping update and haven't.

Another is that they "heat steeped" the recipe, which can often mute flavors or otherwise negatively impact the recipe as much or moreso than it will help.

As for Chai recipes, I'd suggest building from the ground up. FA or FLV black tea, FA cardamom, FLV rich cinnamon, FLV clove, and a few other spices along with TFA bavarian cream and/or something like CAP sweet cream would probably be my starting point.

This recipe may be worth looking over if you really want to build chai from the ground up.

I really should have looked into this more before I ordered all the flavors. This is my first juice, so live and learn I guess

It could well be an overlooked masterpiece, but typically flavor percentages that high don't translate to modern equipment and the lack of update or reviews gives me pause about the recipe's validity.

eliquid recipies isnt the best site to find recipes, I like the format of the site the best, but the recipes are out dated from when everyone was using eGo's, I find the percentages are too high, alltheflavors seems to be a much better site as they list the average percentage for each flavor

ELR does that too. Also,. ATF has shitty UX and a dodgy admin. If you wanna find good recipes on ELR, follow a couple of good mixers and check your stream instead of random shit. Alternatively, sort by date to find newer recipes , use the i-buttons in the results to quickly see if a recipe has a plausible mix & total percentage of aromas. Pro tip: people with profile pics are slightly more likely to have good recipes. Yes there's a lot of shit recipes and airhead comments on ELR but if that prevents someone from finding the good stuff then that person is just lazy. Same goes for complaints about the erratic flavors: if you search for a flavor and sort the results by amount of recipes you can't miss the correct ones. They'll even pop up automatically when making a recipe. ELR has had enough shit poured over it, but IMHO it tells me more about the person complaining than about the app I'm a proud sponsor of.

Definitely not the best options with that recipe, I agree with the other guy, I'd go with FLV flavors. Osdiys has a few blends that you could build from for both.

I would try something like CAP Chai Tea @5% plus some VBIC or FLV Milk & Honey as a start. Cap Chai tea is pretty nice. I used it @7% with 7% TFA VBIC, but 7% was a bit high and peppery, so I guess between 3 to 5 % should be fine.

Nude Nic has a Chai Tea Tornado, I don't know if there's any reviews around here for that. I decided that it wasn't... my... cup of tea. Sorry. But I also decided I didn't like any coffee vapes, so I don't really have a review of it, tea and coffee just didn't turn out to be for me.

I just came here to say that I bought INW Shisha Chai, and while I haven't yet experimented with it enough to supply a good recipe, it tastes very authentic of Indian-style chai to me, and I suspect it could developed into a great recipe.

Please note it is very strong (even by Inawera standards) so I made a 10% dilution. There are no off-notes when too much is used, but it becomes VERY dry VERY quickly.

I've had the same experience as yours: it's a very good chai flavor but I haven't experimented with it. And it's hella strong.

Speaking of tea flavors. Why we dont have (almost) no chamomile flavors? Chamomile with a bit of honey and lemon could be a very awesome vape.

Flavorah Thai Chai is good by itself. It's not 100% Chai tea, there is a difference but it's similar and you can use it alone. But I agree with Flavorah's teas all being solid. Tea flavors that vape well are hard to find but they nailed them.
