#Highlights from Last Week

• /u/kontravention distilled some of the commonly dispensed new mixer advice into one solid list in 'my new mixer thoughts and what this sub showed me works'

• /u/demitrixrd brought our attention to HB4742 a bill that aims to tax nicotine... /u/SvenskGhoti jumped in with some math and a pointed TL;DR:

  > ”these motherfuckers are trying to make smoking cheaper than vaping.”

• /u/PineappleSmoothie asked about using “DIY ejuice flavors” to cook with. It’s not a stupid question but it is frequently asked and phrased in various ways:

  • “are the flavors food safe?”
  • “Can I add DIY flavors into water?”
  • “Other uses for aromas”
  • “Other uses for flavors?”
  • “Who else uses their concentrates for things other than vaping?”

• /u/isuamadog might not have had a topic for last week’s Tutorial Tuesday but that didn’t stop some good questions and discussion from happening in the comments.

• /u/RancerDS finally missed a week of Single Flavors Tried but it took 32 weeks for that to happen, so he’s obviously forgiven. /u/ID10-T went above and beyond with his flavor notes last week, covering 23 Cake flavors and 7 red licorice/swedish fish flavors.

 

#The Generosity of Strangers

Now that giveaways have become a somewhat regular occurrence (6 weeks in a row is definitely a new record) more than a few vendors have contacted me offering to give away supplies and flavors. But also, more surprising, is the number of people who have asked if they can give something away to the community themselves (especially on Discord) whether it is a single flavor, a handful of flavors, or some variety of hardware. It’s just one of the many reasons I appreciate all the people that make up this community. <3
