Must try Bull City recipe packs?
submitted almost 6 years ago by ENIGMA_PLEASE_

Just a noob looking to pick up some more flavors. I really like the concept of recipe packs, but there's quite the selection. I tried searching through reddit and didn't find a thread like this, so here goes:

Are there any recipe packs from Bull City that really standout? Is there a consensus on the "best" packs?

I'm not specifically looking for personal recommendations because I'd like this thread to serve as a resource for anyone interested --- but if you're so inclined, I'm partial to non-custard-based dessert/bakery/cereal flavors.

Did you try searching the individual recipes that interest you? BC only bundled the flavors for a discount. The actual recipes came from well known mixers here and on YT so there is likely a dedicated thread for each. More information on ATF as well.

I've mixed up a few of those recipes. White Coconut Cake is probably the one I've mixed the most, but HIC's Lemon Meringue Pie is excellent, as is Sadlad (especially if you're a fan of cereals). Strawnana Custard is pretty damn good too, if you can handle the crazy long steep time.

Can confirm, Sadlad is awesome.

What you're asking for already exists. Go to ATF and enter the name of any of the packs you're interested in and read the reviews.

Thanks for the tip, didn't know about ATF, wish there was a way to filter recipes tagged as bull city recipe packs.

Reviews of individual recipes help get a better idea of what to expect from each, but I'm also looking for comparative opinions from the community - stuff like, of the 49 recipes, which are the most popular? which of the cereal recipes do you prefer? etc. Information like that is hard to glean from recipe reviews.

Have you tried any of the recipe packs? and if so, do some standout in your opinion?

If you're into funky/interesting blends, Fiestas & Fiascos is great. One of the rare ones that I keep going back to.

Yeah I like this one. Not sure if they have Grack Juice one anymore but they used to. That's also weirdly good.

Pebbles, Sadlad, Tony' s Revenge, Grack Juice, Coop's Kiwi Cheesecake.

All of them are awesome and give you a bunch of flavors that work well together.

I just mixed the pebbles by notcharlesmanson, it's incredible. I added .75% supersweet and let it steep for about 2 weeks. Probably one of my favorites so far.

This is a list of all the most popular recipes. Find a couple that sound good to you, then buy the flavors that you need. That should get you started and give you some direction.

I just started a few weeks ago and this has worked out very well for me (though to be fair, in my enthusiasm I've already amassed a collection of 60+ flavors)
