Similar alternative to FA Custard?

FA Custard Premium!

Ok joke aside, even though that is a GREAT custard - greater than FA Custard.

I assume FA Custard is unavailable to you? I find CAP Vanilla Custard or IWN Custard to just as good - maybe even a td better actually.

FA Custard Premium is awesome, but in no way a substitute for OG FA Custard. The latter has a distinct lemon component and no egginess, hardly any--if any--vanilla. it's a different animal, but great for its own uses. I use it in pie recipes with good effect. pm me if you want suggestions.

While it isn't a great custard on it's own, for this use I wouldn't advise subbing. FA is more of an accent flavor. Sadly under-utilized. Can really add some body to a mix.

Any other custard will do, and will probably taste good, but it would really change from the way the chef intended.

Do you have the ingredients for this recipe instead? It's an update of the one you're looking into and I find it simpler and tastier.

I actually do except for Fe lemon. Isn't flavors express the parent company of many others? I can seem to find that flavour in the UK

Flavor express is at chefs flavours, labeled at xpress flavours. They have fe lemon under that name

You can use other custards, but just so. You know, you're altering the recipe and it won't be the same.
