The sheet has been amended. Thank you for the report, this was omitted from both their SDS and the "components list" on their site.

I am in contact with Bull City about this. Corn Syrup is NOT listed on TFA site. Bull City says it could be a mistake on the label and with check and get back to me on Monday.

It could be, but it's the same with Caramel Original

What about items that contain Furfuryl alcohol (its listed as a carcinogen here)

Ah, I have had furfural on the Caution sheet for a while now but that is a slightly different CAS, I will reindex with 98-0-0 added to the caution category later today.

I've seen lots of recipes with it. I also know you are not supposed to use anything that has corn syrup or caramel color. I wish I'd known it had that in it, I wouldn't have ordered it.

Recipes on ELR from 2015 and earlier, I'd imagine

There needs to be some updates or something done with this if it's not safe to use for vaping. Some of the recipes are as of last year. Nowhere does it say not to use it.

This site also says dX caramel original has corn syrup in and so did the bottles of 2 other vendors I purchased from .I emailed tfa a while ago and they replied saying it doesn't and if it did they would put it on there site . Really confusing with a few flavors .

I just hear corn syrup can gunk up coils faster other than that is there really a reason not to use it? I have some tfa Graham cracker that has it

Real sugars are carcinogenic to vape

If I was using, let's say, 1% of this TFA Cappuccino that has corn syrup listed on the label, how bad would that be considering it's only 1%?

Meh. It's only cancer, right?

When there are better flavors out there, why risk it?

Depends if you want to risk it, i vape fw yellow cake once and a while, just dont make it a habit.

I've never heard that before... When was that discovered?

Sugars have a low flashpoint, so they burn and emit carcinogens. Sucralose has a high flashpoint and wont burn so thats why it is used.

Are you asking about the TFA Caramel Cappuccino?

1 points

by KingpinOfTheSlumalmost 6 years ago

No. It's TFA Cappuccino. Not Caramel Cappuccino.

I'm guessing they might have similar components...
