I was so disappointed with that FA cherry. I don't know wtf it's supposed to be but it isn't cherry that's for sure.

I actually made a recipe specifically to find a use for it

I might try mixing a touch of it with TFA strawberry ripe and CAP sweet strawberry in a recipe. Maybe throw in some TFA raspberry sweet or something. I think it's probably just a dud though.

Probably the best cherry is Inawera Cherries - beware that there are several INW cherry-type flavours, the one you're after is called "Czeresnie" on their website.

Can you remove that second link for me? Rule 10 and all that.

Thanks :)

Thanks for this, it’s a big help. I’ve been kinda spinning my wheels on what flavors to get.

I’ve been digging thru the diy sub but haven’t found something like this yet, a lot of yes or no’s on flavors but not the why. I’m sure it’s there, just haven’t hit it yet....

Digging where?

The search and just searching the recipes for flavor Rec’s. Checked the the popular flavor polls, but since they change often, there’s not a lot of consistency there...

What about the FAQ stickied at the top of the sub? It's got links to Flavor reviews, Flavor of the week, Flavor Facts, Single Flavor Notes, Mega reviews, etc.

I'd start there instead of searching. There's also a link in that thread to a better way to search, too, if you prefer searching.

I suppose I could have provided more indepth notes for a lot of these but I just wanted to share a quick, "these are good to me" list. However, you are completely right, the more detailed your notes are, the better off you'll be down the road.
