Yes, I know that is a chain shop juice, and I really did not care for most of their juice line. But there was just something about this one... It was really close to a lemon bundt cake, with a milk/confectioner's sugar icing, and lemon zest on top. I have been trying to figure out the best way to recreate it, as I am well into the last half of my last bottle and they do not make it any longer. In the last six months, it is the only commercial juice that I have bought with the intention of just vaping, as opposed for research.
Where I think that I am headed with this right now is CAP Vanilla Cupcake at around 5%, a touch of FW Yellow Cake to push the browned cake aspect, a bit of TPA Dairy Milk (underrated flavor, when used right) and FA Oba Oba to push the icing the right way, but it is the lemon... I just cannot place the lemon(s) that they are using there. There is absolutely no furniture polish taste to it, no other citrus, and it does not seem to fade too badly (the bottle I am on right now has steeped for almost six months, in fact).
Anyone had this juice that can think of what lemon(s) might be in play? Revisiting my SFT notes, I really can't find anything that fits. Essentially, it tastes exactly like a lemon in a bakery should taste - likely, a bit of lemon extract and a bit of lemon juice and zest. Or, if anyone has their go-to lemon for a cake application, I'm willing to try a mixer tonight and see what I can come up with.
Gah! Forgive the grammar in the title. The one thing that I cannot edit, of course. I promise, I am not nearly as illiterate as that makes me sound.
This is actually one of the more well written Clone Requests I've seen. The problem isn't the spelling mistake in the title, it's the fact that you're breaking rule 4.
The problem with enforcing that rule is that Automod failed to post a clone request thread this month and there's nowhere for me to send you. Because of that and the details you've provided, I'll make an exception.
Have you tried FW Lemon Meringue Pie?
fa lemon sicily and some la lemonade maybe, is my guess.
Definitely have both, that that would be a solid place to start - and likely where I will start. Was really tempted to lean towards INW Lemon Mix over FA Lemon Sicily when I was playing with ideas, but I do not know if I have the patience to deal with such a finicky flavor today. It can go from divine to Murphy's Oil Soap in the blink of an eye, depending on what it is mixed with.
Lemon Sicily didnt taste like furniture polish in my Lemon Custard. shrug
Unlikely... Vape Wild uses almost all FW. So probably there's some FW cancer cake and FW natural lemonade. Might be that's all to it If you don't care about totally accurate clone, you can go with the less carcinogenic (but still kinda blech) JF yellow cake.
It's been rumoured that Vape Wild uses all Flavor West flavors. I'm not sure if that's valid though.
I have heard the same, too. FW is one of the places where my flavor stash is a bit lacking, unfortunately. That being said, I've never let needing one or two flavors get between me and an obscenely large flavor order.
It's been renamed "Lemon Meringue"
I've cloned their Murica juice, I think sort of successfully, so I can at least give a couple pointers for working with VapeWild juice:
-
It's usually pretty simple. They are a "budget" brand after all. We're talking 3 or 4 flavors and some sweetener.
-
You'll want to stick with TFA and FW, sometimes CAP. But chances are low that they use flavors from companies like INW, RF, LB, definitely no FLV, etc. You have to think in their terms that they're trying to get the most ROI by selling cheaper juice.
