Those gorilla bottles have always leaked for me. Always. Like in hundreds of bottles of purchased juice. Might just be wicking thru the threads and seeping out.

I noticed with those bottles that if you take a needle or safety pin, use it to widen the tip just a little bit, and the leaking stopped.

Though they're also garbage bottles and I never ordered them again after the first batch.

What do you guys use now? I have been using those gorilla bottles for over a year now with the same issues, and I'd rather keep a 60mL bottle handy so I don't have to constantly refill it.

I've been using [these](510 Central 60mL LDPE Plastic Thin Tip Dropper Bottles (12 Pack, Multi Color Caps) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CZMJKXJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ka6FDbR5CBDCR) and have had no issues with them leaking at all.

I'm thinking you got a little bit of base on your hands somewhere along the lines and it ended up on the outside of your bottle when you shake

Recipe? Size of bottles? Link to bottles? Picture of the substance in question? We need details here

According to the side bar I can't post links, but I'm using the 3mg 70/30 base from ecigexpress and a few different "One Shot" concentrates from Express DIY. 100ml Chubby Gorilla bottles.

The bottles do this regardless of the flavor. I'll try to get a picture, but it's a thin, clear substance. I don't imagine it will show up well on camera.

Bottles are likely leaking. PG is thin and clear

I don't see how this could be it unless the liquid is separating some how? As I mentioned I'm using a a pre-made base so I imagine it should be fairly homogenized already.

Post pics with appropriate lighting, you will get nothing but speculation until you make a proper thread.

Gorilla bottles always leak a little if you shake them.

How about just tighten the caps and keep the bottles upright?

Take a paper towel to the lids and around the neck, and see if it happens again.

It's just juice. Use glass bottles with airtight caps if you really don't like it

The bottles are simply leaking eliquid from the tip. It happens to me all the time with my 60ml gorilla bottles. You either need to suck the extra liquid out of the tip every time you use them. Or wipe the tip every time you use them. I promise there is nothing strange for you to worry about.

More than likely when you first shook the bottles some of the unmixed pg probably got by the seal between the bottle top and the threads where it screws on. This is quite a common issue and tends to happen even with premixed juice too if it’s at least 70/30 vg/pg. nothing to worry about.

When you shake it take the cap off and put your thumb above the tip, that will stop the "mysterious substance" which is probably juice that pools on the cap from when you shake them.

I've seen a liquid around my caps when they are left open. My guess was always that it was water in the air interacting with the surface of the liquid and then re-evaporating, taking some of the liquid with it. My theory was based on the fact that the this stuff was clear and thinner than the liquid itself.

Is it possible it’s just machine oil from wherever the bottles are produced? I remember a lot of coils would come oiled out of the box a couple years ago.

Did you wash the bottle out before hand?

I don't think so, its perfectly clear, doesn't have a scent, and is sticky when it dries.

I'm certain the bottles were clean before mixing.

They're Chubby Gorilla bottles, same as you would get with any premium eliquid.

LOL..... I also recommend glass only

plastics are known for leeching dioxin, phthalates, BPA and others

your bottles are probably leaking very slowly, it's thick stuff and VG almost feels oily

edit: But it's NOT OIL
