This is probably a stupid question.

So I have never ordered any concentrates from overseas. I placed a pretty larger order of One Shot's from Chef's Flavours last week and they finally came in today. Every single bottle was opened and one was poorly put back together and f*ckign leaked everywhere. I know this isn't the distributor's fault and that the asshats in customs are the most likely culprit.

Is this still safe to use? Does this happen every time you order something from overseas? I was really excited for all of this to come in and mix up a huge batch of liquid, but now I'm not sure what to do with all of this.

Edit: word's

That's sucks but I think your definitely correct on it being customs, Chef's Flavours are a great company and domestically I've never heard of any issues. Just sucks sorry that happened.

Damn, that's really fucked up. Can the customs office really do that in the united states?

They can. They usually don't, but it does happen.

Yup and his order probably got flagged to be checked since it was a large order.

The last thing we need is more synthetic drugs or the chemicals used to make them entering the U.S.

That's to bad OP but if it was me I wouldn't use the products because you don't know if and how customs checked your products to be sure they weren't an illegal substance.

They’d take a small sample and find out it was nothing of interest and put it back together (badly, sadly) - OP can use them, why would the customs screw with them. 👍🏼

I have no idea. Tamper proof seal was broken on every bottle though.

I'd be totally ok using the rest of the spilled concentrate. If there is any organic contamination, the heat from the vape coil should solve that. I'm pretty sure the customs guys didn't sabotage the concentrate. Up to you, though!

They aren't technically allowed to because tampering with mail is a felony, but they do it anyway. Your supposed to be present but the customs office is technically not America yet, it's only entered the country AFTER the customs office so they can kind of do what they want. I believe they are liable for any damages incurred though, but I might be wrong.

Note: filing a complaint likely places your name on a list flagging all future imports/border crossings.

I considered that as well - they probably operate with impunity, but if it happened to me, I'd definitely be angry enough to complain.

Angry enough -check.

Naive enough - maybe not.

They're theirown jurisdiction, and basically can get away with pretty much anything they want.
