Lemonade (LA) 6%
Lemon Sicily (FA) .5%
Koolada (TFA) 1%
Natural Ruby Red Grapefruit (FW) 2%
I wanted a Grapefruit/tart lemonade. Lemonade (LA) and Lemon Sicily (FA) seem to be a common base for the lemonade flavor. WS-23 is popular, I still like to use Koolada. Overall this recipe is not tart/sour, and I get the grapefruit lemonade flavor I look for when I vape it sometimes. It mostly reminds me of a Limeade. Any suggestions on creating a tart grapefruit lemonade? Should I increase the grapefruit? I know there are a few sour flavors available, any recommendations for this type of flavor? Should I skip the Koolada and aim for WS-23 or something similar?
It still tastes pretty good, and I am thinking I might keep it in my usual rotation, but any advice would still be appreciated.
Thanks all.
Apparently FLV Pink Guava tastes a lot more like grapefruit than guava, and supposedly, it’s the best grapefruit. Might be worth trying that.
The thing about FLV Pink Guava is that it doesn't mix well with others, kind of dominates the mix. But it's worth a try at least.
Curious how this ends up. I tried to use FA Sicily >2% and it trashes my throat/lungs
You don't like FA Lemon Pledge?
2% is way too high unless you plan a 48hour steep.
But OP only used .5%... Admittedly .5% INW Lemon Mix would be better (as would replacing koolada with FA Polar Blast and WS-23) but at that level it disappears quickly.
INW Grapefruit is a good grapefruit to mix with, nice and tart. Somewhere between a white and red grapefruit without too much rind.
> Any suggestions on creating a tart grapefruit lemonade?
My shopping list would include things like VT Sour Lemon, INW Grapefruit, WF Sour Ball Candy, VT Lemonade Clear, and maybe for the sweet part of the sweet/sour dance I'd throw in 0.75-1% FLV Lemonade. The most important of these being INW Grapefruit.

0.25% vt honey pomelo

0.25% one cactus (optional)

Meh, weirder things have happened. Lemons, citrons, limes, grapefruits, and oranges are all basicially a mixed bag of hybrids of each other to varying degtees. Mixing them is bound to produce a product similar to their hybrids always.
