Let's talk about Lime
submitted about 6 years ago by CTurpin1

So I was wondering if there are any lime flavors out there that do not contain the plastic cracking chemical that also tastes good. I know it's a tall order but I'm sure some savvy person can shed a bit of light on this issue. Thank you in advance.

There's an advanced 7 or 8 flavor pink lemonade clone on ELR with Lime Tahity cold pressed. It's always in my rotation, but I love lemonade flavors.

Your question is not about a plastic taste but about the actual cracking of polycarbonate tanks. It seems some folks have confused your question. I wish I could help. As I understand it, it's more of a roll of the dice as to the strength of the tank and flavoring.

Actually, that's really well spotted! I shall remove my answer.

What tank are you using? Pods are really the only thing left on the market made of plastic as far as I know.

I forgot about those. I think my mind blocked them from memory because of how stupid they are

Well, it's not totally crazy. If you're buying coils anyway... I've seen those disposable tanks selling for pretty much the cost of some coils.

Not the same kind of plastic. Those shouldn't crack.

This has been an issue for vapers for a LONG time, citrus flavors and plastic tanks just don’t mix because the liquid breaks the plastic. Not entirely sure why, and unfortunately, I don’t really have a solid answer for a solution for you.

I use two different devices primarily. They are both Smok nic salt devices, the Orion, and the Novo. Both of these devices use plastic throwaway tanks. The flavor I am currently using that is a tank cracker is FLV Lime.
