Anyone know where to get decent juice labels?
submitted about 6 years ago by natteulven

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I can't seem to find a good place to get decent or minimalist type bottle labels for juice, anyone have any recommendations? I've been using those little stick on paper labels for a while now, but after a few days they just wear out and peel off.

Before anyone asks, no, I'm not asking because I plan on selling my DIYs on a large scale or for business purposes. I only occasionally sell them to friends or acquaintances if they ask.

I buy Avery 22814/22804 labels (the same), and print on them with a laser printer. Comes out sharp, and lasts well longer than the bottle.

I will edit this with a picture of one!

I also use this brand, but I use the size for return address stickers. It's a lot of fun to put memes on when I make juice for friends!

Cool idea! And then what program do you use to make the labels?

Avery has it's own software for free that sets up your printer to their labels. You only print the labels you want and it's pretty straightforward

Maybe just buy a small label printer?

Yup. I got a brother label printer and it's great for quick simple labels. I have a few templates set up and it takes maybe 30s to print off a label.

I personally label green painter's tape with a fine tip marker. Dated.

Go with the artist's touch.

i skipped writing on the tape, i wrote sharpie on the bottle and covered it with clear packing tape so it doesn't get smudged off.

I use the blue since I have no green, with a sharpie.

Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Michael's or any kind of office supply store. The best ones I have are from Dollar Tree.

Yeah, get a label printer - Easily one of the best investments I've made lately - Looks good, peels easy and keeps it all organized

I use postal labels that you can print on. From Walmart's office supply section.

I have a specific label type I buy and I made a custom Word document to fit the exact size and scaling for the labels, then I just copy my custom label images into the word file and print them off with my laser printer.

I'll try to remember to upload the label brand / sales # and the word file later so people can take advantage of my work if they want an easy process.

Dude that would be much appreciated. I’ve been trying to get the size right on word for awhile. Please do this brother.

these are weatherproof inkjet printer labels

I use them and there size is perfect, I do the same thing for friends and family. I just created a label in photoshop and only change the name to whatever I'm printing. Works amazing!

I use a dymo turbo. Works great and not too expensive if you can find a used one.

Amazon also has a bunch of options starting at about $20

If you can afford it, a Brother label printer using DK-2606 labels is my go-to. The label is a continuous roll that the printer cuts for you, so they are always the right length, and the film vs paper adheres much better to bottles.
