Any people working in China that know where to buy supplies such as VG, PG, flavorings, Nic?
I know Taobao but can't navigate it and also would prefer a source that someone on here could vouch for.
The rules are simple. Living in China I cannot use my Bank Card to make over seas purchases. Would require mainland China company purchases.
Thanks!
Edit: I can navigate taobao but what I mean is it is difficult reading Chinese to know exactly what I am buying.
I get all my flavourings from SmokeLiQ on taobao. No complaints at all, really good customer service, and available in 5/10/30ml sizes, glass or plastic bottles. It's around ¥8 for 10ml of TFA, ¥10 for others. Mostly have TFA/TPA, Capella, and Flavor West, but they do stock some other companies too (a bit more pricey).
They also sell VG, PG, and Nic. It's all legit (Pro-N-Base), I've tried it before, I just find it's cheaper to buy in bulk elsewhere on taobao.
Everything's clearly labelled in English in the pictures on SmokeLiQ, so you don't even need to read any Chinese.
You could probably get the whole health cabin line there but I don't know how good they are. I have purchased pg and vg from China and it wasn't bad at all. I think a coworker bought some nic from there but I don't think that was true. You're going to have to look up some local laws over there cuz I heard they have some strange laws. For example I import into japan from almost anywhere but nic can't be sold here locally
I think the laws are bare in China. For instance I can buy eliquids from TB shops and also Nic in pg form from the same shops.
The issue for me is trusting a good store or a company because afterall, this is China.
Like you mentioned about the Chinese Nic being true. I've also had that issue with Chinese brand eliquids. Though probably safe, they aren't very consistent on nic levels.
Hiliq is based in HK I believe and good for nic, maybe PG and VG. I haven't tried their flavors, but they're mostly a miss with few hits (search around, you'll find recommendation). They're quite popular with Australia and Japan (have their own JP site).
Look into the legality of shipping flavors into China. I live in Japan, I buy my flavors from NicRiver (easiest, cheaper-ish shipping), my nic from Hiliq, and my VG/PG off Amazon.jp. This is all legal as the only restriction is 120ml of nic can be imported at a time (but Hiliq lists it as VG anyhow~~~)
Very good answer. Lots of information! Thankyou. I'll check into this company.
Is it website based or do they use a third party store such as taobao/Amazon ect
They are based in Shanghai, although the company seems to be registered in HK for some reason.
Would highly recommend Hiliq. high quality ingredients and great flavors.
When I order from them i just order on their English site, and then shoot their customer service an email with the order number, asking to pay via Alipay and how much i should pay in Yuan. they respond within a few hours. orders are sent out same day or next usually, depending on what time of the day you order. customer service is very helpful.
english customer service email is service@hiliq.com
I'll second Hiliq for nic. For flavourings I mostly order from places like Bull City and use a US mail-forwarding service to get them to China (I declare them as food flavouring, never had any issues at Customs as long as the value of the package is under about $100 US).
Does anyone know a source for hangsen in China? Been wanting some Australian chocolate for a while.
