This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the August Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread
Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.
If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.
Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping! We keep an archive of all the past threads in our wiki as well
Happy Vaping!
I'm still vaping a bunch of O.C.D. and will continue to do so until it's gone, cuz I love it. Then I'll probably try some of /u/mlnikon 's Tropical Smoothie, which has been described as similar but less funky.
But I also tried a bunch of new stuff this week. My favorites have been Grunch by /u/hocuskrokus (to which I added 0.5% WS-23) and Grapefruit Rose Paloma -- both of which are awesome. Haven't gotten around to leaving more detailed reviews yet but both deliver exactly what they promise. Highly recommend them. 6/5 stars for these two.
This Lilt recipe was made in 2016 and is not bad at all by 2016 standards but I'm dying for a an updated version and have even tried bribing /u/staybert to create one. I found this super simple Lil' Squirt to be delightful but it makes me want to try cranking up both of the flavors in it and seeing if it could be a little bolder without going awry.
Pogged Out was a fun peach recipe and a neat idea, a POG swapping peach for the passionfruit and grapefruit for the guava. The orange and grapefruit and part of the peaches sort of come together on top to create some new, fanciful citrus peach hybrid, while the rest of the peaches are identifiable underneath and so natural I can almost feel the fuzz. Queen's Marmalade mostly tastes just the way I think it should, but I was annoyed by word "thick" appearing multiple times in the description (and even a "voluptuous" appearing there) when I actually found it to be too thin and need something goopy sweet to fill it out. Still a better mixed citrus experience than FA Citrus Mix standalone though, by far - it's what FA Citrus Mix SHOULD taste like.
I absolutely love the idea of this Blood Orange Honeysuckle Cupcake both as something I want to vape and something I want to find the culinary recipe for and cook, but I did not like the recipe itself. It doesn't do a good enough job of covering up the yuckiness of SA Grapefruit Cream; that stuff is abominable.
Still sampling my Fireball Ice Cream and trying to decide whether to tweak it. At the moment, it's just FLV Red Cinnamon, FLV Bourbon, and FLV Caramel (and a little sweetener) added to the famous Ice Cream Trinity. On the pod front, I gave in to the Caliburn hype but am not sure either of the things I've mixed for it so far (one simple mango recipe, one simple peppermint ice cream) are worth sharing, though I am definitely enjoying the peppermint ice cream.
I made this just before that Lilt recipe was released. Didn’t want to compete, so I called it something else.
It could still use some work with some of the newer soda concentrates, but I’m focused on other things right now, so it probably won’t happen soon.
I’ve got 8 or 9 grapefruit flavors but am somehow missing INW. How badly am I missing out?
Not sure how it compares, as it’s the only one I’ve ever used (barring FLV Pink Guava which tastes like Grapefruit to me), but I love it for adding zing and tartness / sour. It’s pretty violent though. 1% is definitely the max I’d ever push it to.
If you’ve got a grapefruit that’s bright and sour, sub it in and see. It needs to be pretty up front for the profile to work.
Just started DIYing, so a lot of flavors I am trying as a standalone.
My favorites so far are, CAP vanilla custard and TFA Citrus Punch 2. Another one I quite enjoyed but feel like needs a litle bit more to it would be CAP sweet strawverry. Today I am trying to mix it with some vanilla custard as a base. Excited to see how it turns out. :)
I see myself vaping the citrus punch as a standalone for quite some time now, I do not see anything to add to it, it just has such an uniqe taste that i really enjoy.

I've been through maybe 500ml since I started mixing this, this is the first time I find an ADV that lasts me more than ~100-150ml.
Still getting a bit old, despite being cheap and nice, if anyone knows a nice raspberry ADV recipe I'd be happy to hear about it!
Not straight on raspberry, but check out Screwball by DIY Vapor (Chris') recipe. Mimics the old gumball sherbet cones. Nice raspberry notes and candy taste. Great ADV

Caramel Apple Cookies. could use some tweaking, but its not bad as it is.
Been fucking with cap golden pineapple in various beverage recipes. Really loving it, especially with a tiny tiny amount of citrus punch and cactus.
I use it in a whip with creams although I just stumbled upon something when mixing that with another recipe and it is 100% juicyfruit gum. Gonna tinker more and post
Ive never found a recipe I liked that mixes a strong citrus with a cream, I actually tend to dislike them. I would be very interested and open to trying your recipe though!!
I think I just got turned off of the idea and have not been looking for something that works. If you have it posted on diy-ejuice or something please do share! I could see a cream dominant blend working nicely with 1% citrus accent though, so im interested to see your percentages if you use more.
I originally had just TFA Pineapple, but got CAP earlier in the year and started messing around. TFA can cause some clouding (suspension in chem terms) but clears in less than a day. Here's my most recent version of 🍍 whip (my take on a tropical blender drink)
-
I found CAP alone got real harsh at higher % so did a blend.
-
FA Fresh Cream is well know to smooth out some harshness, but also core to the profile.
-
Meringue is to give a hint of Cream of Tartar, which is crucial in the real drinks. (Orange Julius)
-
Apricot is crazy harsh but it's fine at this % It gives a bottom note that I feel 🍍 is missing. Optional tho, not many will own this.
-
I found EM to really help this recipe. Don't really use it in much else.
White Tiger
- TFA Pineapple 3%
- CAP Golden Pineapple 3%
- FA Pear 2%
- FA Fresh Cream 1.75%
- FA Meringue 0.5%
- TFA Apricot 0.5%
- Ethyl Malitol, splash of 10% in 4oz
- TFA Whipped Cream 1% (optional and only in my mix today lol)
