You're So Vanilla - A Vapouround Recipe (MTL)
submitted about 6 years ago by Vapouround-nedDiketones, Schmiketones

Hello Citizens of DIY_eJuice,

I mixed this on a whim after a recent order from Chef's came in and I've been enjoying it, so why not share?

The idea here was to create an MTL vanilla profile that I found interesting enough to vape all day, which actually isn't that hard because I love vanilla.

Recipe:

TFA French Vanilla Deluxe - 7%

CAP Cereal 27 - 5%

Chef's Choice Devon Cream - 2%

INW Shisha Vanilla - 1%

TFA Brown Sugar - 0.6%

Flavour Notes:

TFA French Vanilla Deluxe: The flavour that inspired this recipe. I've seen very little talk about it in the past and couldn't find any proper information about it after trawling through old forum posts. This is a rich, creamy vanilla with hints of something darker, maybe caramel? I'm not too sure but it's quite lovely and underrated, IMO.

CAP Cereal 27: I used this at 5% to add some texture to the profile, surprisingly even though it's used quite liberally here, it doesn't dominate the profile. I'm sure this could be subbed for various cookies, graham crackers, etc.

Chef's Choice Devon Cream: I'm late to the party on this one and I feel bad about it because this is a great cream. I get quite a lot of dairy from it, which is missing from most "cream" flavourings.

INW Shisha Vanilla: Adds more "real" vanilla to the mix and helps with body, too.

TFA Brown Sugar: This flavouring works in almost any cream, custard or cereal mix and this is no exception. A little twist of dark sweetness, almost toffee like, that enhances the Cereal 27. You could bump this up if you wanted to.

Steep time: 1 Week+

Thanks for reading this far. I know, it's another vanilla recipe but I am a very dull person and I'm sure fellow dullards will enjoy this. If you do mix this one up, let me know what you think :)

Looks tasty! Just curious - are you using nic in this? If so, care to share what concentration and percentage? Salt or freebase?

I have found it takes quite a bit to get flavor to come through on MTLs and also, balance out the pungent nic taste.

TIA

I ususally mix my MTL recipes between 12-15mg salt nicotine, 50/50 VG/PG, sometimes 60/40 if the recipe contains harsher flavourings :)

Ahhh finally an MTL recipe without tobacco that i have all the ingredients for! Im so excited to whip this up later tonight and give my thoughts!

Id also love to take this and possibly add some cinnamon to spice it up. I wonder if a drop or two of Rich Cinnamon will help, but regardless of that thanks for this work and share!

You'd need more than a drop or two to cover up the vanilla...

Thats what i was thinking honestly, but it might be worth messing around with the %s of the other concentrates a little to see if some cinnamon would fit in. Maybe even some CDS to give it a bakery vibe too, but i do have my doubts here. Its just an idea, but definitely a longshot. Still would be fun to experiment with! Edit: a word

CAP Cereal 27 seriously underrated. Damn good at a standalone and can really pull mixes together too.

I love Cereal 27 too. It's really versatile.
