Such clean coils!
submitted about 6 years ago by 8thoursbehind

I just have to thank you chaps so much. I recently converted to making my own juice. The cost of premium juice was far more than I was spending on an occasional packet of rolling tobacco. The need to change my cotton and clean or replace my coils so often was becoming utterly tiresome. I prefer the rather sweet baked flavours French Dude and suchlike and they are full of sweetner. Since making my own, cotton and coils stay fresh for so long! So, thank you!

Great point OP. So much blood on the hands of commercial ejuice companies. Most people don't start out with an RTA/RDA. They start with a mod kit usually. Once they see themselves buying multiple coils a week plus the overpriced juice they're right back at smoking cigarettes. These fucks make me wanna puke.

That's one of the first things I noticed about DIY juice, well besides all the new flavors. After you've been mixing and vaping some of the same stuff for a while, you'll notice some recipes are extra clean. I vaped Fiestas and Fiascos for about 5 months on a Falcon coil. It wasn't even burnt out either. I changed it just out of boredom. I build too and the only rewicking I do often is the recipes I make with sweetener.

I get about 1-2 months out of a coil on DIY juice, and 1-2 weeks on store-bought juice.

I think everyone loves clean coils and doesn't like to spend their nights re-wicking and making/changing coils.

A few weeks ago, I mixed up a bottle of Unicorn Vapors 'Revenge' (not my recipe) and left out the sweetener. Very tasty and very easy on the coils. Anyone else have an easy-on-the-coils recipe to recommend?

I'll have to try that with FA meringue instead of marshmallow

Completely agree!

I’m using a free max mesh (original not pro) coil and it’s two weeks old now and still nice and clean! Even with my juice mixed at 15% in flavors.

So does it taste as good? Or is it muted if youre completely used to "premium" juices? For example, ik bluedot makes clean juice, but I never enjoyed it cause it tasted so muted to me

I use ethyl maltol as my sweetener. Only takes a little bit, doesn't step on the flavors and breaks down at much higher temps than more traditional sweeteners. So it is a good or better than store bought depending on your recipe.

Just don't use too much or it mutes everything.

Yup. Did that a couple times.
