Giveaways are fun but infrequent here. Rather than just have a bunch of people comment "Nana Cream 3mg. Thanks for the chance!" it seemed more appropriate to use this as a chance to get something that benefits everyone. Recipe Reviews.
If you've mixed something up and have some thoughts on it, now is your chance to cash in!
#The Rules
To get an entry into the giveaway simply leave a link to a recipe you've reviewed on ATF/ELR/VC or here on the sub (if your username is different on one of the recipe sites, include your reddit username in the review or specify in your comment here which review is yours.) The review can be from the last week or one you write between now and the drawing next week. The review must be more than "This was good!" or "Meh, I didn't like it."
Be generous with your words to praise or critique. It's not a best review contest but I will at least read the review to make sure it says something.
If you don't have an account on ATF/ELR/VC and don't feel like making one, you can also leave a review in this week's "What are you vaping?" thread or, if it's a recipe from the July recipe thread, leave it as a comment on the recipe (be sure to comment the link here to be entered to win)
And just for fun, if you'd like a bonus entry (to improve your odds) you can join the DIY_eJuice Discord and mention @WithAllDueRespect (AKA /u/humanpuck) followed by something snarky or funny or both (if you can manage.)
~~^Final ^rule: ^If ^you're ^outside ^the ^US, ^you ^will ^be ^on ^the ^hook ^for ^shipping ^costs.~~

So I decided to re-do it .. with .. passion!

I tried My Melon Balls by our good friend NordicFlavours. It packs a sour punch that I haven't ever experienced with a liquid before. Maybe the Powdered Sugar potentiates something in the Sour Ball Candy, maybe not, but either way it's very good! The guava is present without the off-notes that it can have at higher percentages. There's a hint of melon flavor, but it's not overpowering and adds a welcome fruit flavor to the sour parade. This guy is pretty sweet, almost at my limit, but I'm not huge on candy-type liquids. All in all this has me reconsidering my life choices (as any good liquid should) so my thanks to Ser Bit!
I was a bit underwhelmed with it at first, but after a few days it really comes together. My favorite candy vape so far.
Although to be fair, that's a pretty short list. Candy vapes aren't usually my cup of tea either. Kitty's Balls are good tho.
I'm guessing we just leave them here? Yes? Ok
"Lust Island" by UnappreciatedRobot
"Sweet Ol' Berry Hoppins" by NordicFlavours
That's all for now, but I got a couple dozen more on the docket so there's more to come.
Lets get the ball rolling!

I don't see a review written by a Kitty
Apeeeex, you know my nickname is different on ATF!
Man, for how much I don't create my own original stuff, you'd think I'd be better at this review thing.
Lets change that.

Flv sweet coconut is the only coconut I use I have about 6 others ,but its the only one i dont get a sunblock vibe from.It tastes delicious in Leche De Coco recipe and imo thats what makes the recipe,Its tastes like fresh shredded coconut with sugar sprinkled on top also gives an oily mouth feel like coconut oil would all in all this is definitely one of the Flavorah flavors I cant live without ...I use it at around 0.5% for Accent and around 2% for Primary flavor ... good luck to everyone else <3
What...
Yeaa... i completely misread the whole thing i dont even wanna win now
Shoutout to Cheeba for this recipe. That clove is exactly what i was looking for.
http://tjek.nu/r/bdRc
The first review on a 2 year old recipe? That's impressive. Poor /u/CheebaSteeba had to wait a long time for that but I'm sure he'll be stoked to see it.
Ikr? It's so good and no one rate it smh these people
>Rather than just have a bunch of people comment "Nana Cream 3mg. Thanks for the chance!"
You're really killing a time honored tradition here on reddit. I suppose you're suggestion is more productive and reasonable though not nearly as humorous.

I finally got around to trying /u/id10-t Frosted lemonade. Pretty tasty.

While I know INW fucked with the lemon formulation I have the original and thus what was intended when made. If you mix this and you find it sucky in the lemon department blame INW for ruining every great flavor they ever made.
Some while ago, I mixed Best Damn Pink Lemonade by Vurve. I vaped it in delight, but totally forgot to write a review, so today I went to change that!
https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/3427
Awesome! I remember all those 3 years ago when /u/Vurve posted it here... who would have guessed it would still be getting 5 star reviews to this day. Apparently it really was the BEST (unless you're /u/juthinc and then you just leave 1 star without an actual review(booooo))
Meh. It's far from the best pink lemonade. It's not even really a lemonade, so much as a NeoCitran recipe, due to the lack of cooling.
If I was going to try to make a pink lemonade and try to claim it was the 'best ever' I'd probably use my basic lemonade, and add FLV Pink Guava and FW Ruby Red Grapefuit. Sure as hell I wouldn't use a strawberry in it.
Of course I know why you didn't like it but what I don't know is why you rated it. Did you mix it? No... really, though, you didn't.... did you? As much as you tell us you hate strawberry etc, you can't tell me you mixed that recipe. And if you didn't then why leave a rating? Is it now cool to leave ratings on people's recipe without trying them??
I needed a break from my all day vape and I vaped it for an evening, couldn't get enough of it! I emtpied my 10ml tester bottle almost completely on just one evening! Thanks a bunch for hosting all of this, I really like the idea of giving reviews for a chance of winning something, really gives some lazy people (like me) some motivation to go and review recipes they recently tried

Review of Dragon Whip by mist_kaefer on ELR
Thanks for the comp Bryson
Nice review! The remix you mention looks good, too. That two flavor combo looks like a good base to work from.
Your version looks amazing! I keep on finding new VT that I need...
Cheers runean - yeah it vapes pretty well. I still haven't mixed with VT Boysenberry yet but it smells bloody fantastic. Same with VT Milkshake Base (but it seems quite strong so will be mixing under 1%), dying to try the milkshake base actually.
- VT French Vanilla Ice Cream 2%
- FA Cream Fresh 1%
- VT Milkshake Base 0.5 or 0.6%
- WS-23 3%
- CAP Super Sweet 0.1%
If that goes well I'll try adding a berry or 2, and VT Boysenberry will probably go first.
Just posted a review for one of the first recipes I bought the specific flavors for. All the way at comment number 127, my username there is wewwllad. I put my reddit username at the beginning just in case.
https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/435001/Glass%20Apple
Thank you for the giveaway and good luck everyone :)
It may be all the way down at number 127 but it's the best review out of all the comments. Well done and good luck :)
Thank you Flavorah and apex for this opportunity. Fortunately, I like to mix up what people are working on and love what some folks are doing.
I left the world's most basic first review on Don't Call me Shirley by u/HumanPuck that was not befitting of my enjoyment of it or a first review of a recipe, so i updated it. I hope someone sees this and tries it.
I left a review for another u/HumanPuck mix Blue Fundip which was not my favorite but my brother's favorite over Kindground's Blu3 and Ed's Backwoods Berry (my favorite of the three - an easy like for me since it is berry forward).
I also reviewed Yoda Soda 16 days ago and am the official yoda soda pimp. I do declare it is my favorite recipe I've tried this year to date. This would be my mid term election favorite of the year.
Another u/Staybert recipe: Black Custard hits all the licorice feels into a subtle creamy sweet custard. yes, i left a review with a sub. Sue me.
Finally, let me also add a review for Citrus filled licorice rod by u/Kittybit8.
Hopefully there's more to come...
Blue fundip was a collab with u/eyemakepizza and hetch, credit where credit is due!
Review for u/eyemakepizza’s Summer Drink I don’t know what to say about “Summer Drink” that is not self-explained by its name. It is a super refreshing vape that is perfect for these hot Arizona days. The honeydew and lime combination works so well, and the peach fits perfectly into the mix. Definitely going to be a new ADV.
You wrote that two months ago. I'm sure you can review a recipe you've tried since then :P
I just left a review on this Blueberry Custard Donut recipe I've tried recently: http://tjek.nu/r/t0jy. My username is the same on both Reddit and ELR. I think leaving reviews on recipes is a great idea for a giveaway!
My review of Woftam Coconut Sponge, love it and my name is Mjag on VC and everywhere else. https://vccalc.vapingcommunity.co.uk/recipe/470
Love this coconut trinity and such a tasty vape, finally a coconut vape I love and have been hooked ever since. I do make a couple of changes based on who I am making it for but as is it is brilliant. Check out some of his other recipes too on VC, the man can mix like a mofo!
Hey, nice to see someone from VC join in the fun. Welcome!
Thank you, love it there, great group of people and Woftam has helped me tremendously to up my mix game. I am here at this subreddit most everyday as well, love the valuable info you all provide.
Thank you and Flavorah for this giveaway when I looked at the list I thought wow, I have barely any of those flavors, I am slippin 😁
This is my review of my ADV right now.

Thank you very much for this awesome idea. I Hope you will generate tons of reviews with this.
This is Apple-Bacco on ATF and my review on ELR for they same guy. my username is porpree but I don't put out recipes, I just use their calculator, it's awesome. this is my entry, thanks for the opportunity u/apexified
I reviewed this recipe from the one and only ID10-T. I'm sad no one else has reviewed it yet. It's been my ADV for over six months now.
https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/87943#1_2_3_cinapple_side_dish_by_id10_t
i bought the ingredients to mix this ages ago and got distracted. Thanks for the reminder. will mix today for my camping trip! six months, u/ID10-T!
I got called out because I missed the rule saying the review had to be a week old or newer, so I finally got around to posting reviews on some of the recipes I tried over the past month!
3 Banana Nuts: Simple Banana Nut Bread by MrColdOne
Coop's Kiwi "Cheesecake" by Coop34, posted by ID10-T
Holy Trinity Ice Cream by AlfredPudding
Mango Dragonfruit Refresher W/ Blackberry Inclusion by Vishousvapez
Breakf of the Gods by Foment_life
Gonna have to call you out more often. Excellent work, my friend.
Was perusing atf the other week & happened to see /u/NaCHeF's Joker: Reloaded. Really been wanting another key lime pie vape & this one really looked interesting.
Tried at the recommended steep point & it was good. But, like most bakery\desserts, it was on point at a week. Highly recommend this one :)
Also I'll do something weird to Puck in the morning 😉
This is absolutely wonderful. Good on Flavorah to be so generous to the community! As a relative beginner with a smaller stash, the prospect is killer. My entry is literally the only review for this recipe on ELR, but in case more show up, my user is DripTender. Blueberry has always felt like a good tobacco compliment, so I gave this a go recently and finally popped the cap. It’s a good one but needed some ‘umph’ for my own tastes. the review Again, thanks to Flavorah! Good luck guys and gals.
As a new mixer, this is the best contest ever. I wish more people left reviews, and this is a great motivator.
I left a review for Pink Wax Candy by ZestyVapes: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/41737#pink_wax_candy_by_zestyvapes
Left a review from july's recipe thread.
Cranberry Cheesecake by Alb3rtix
https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/c7us0b/july_2019_recipe_thread/
Always have felt self-conscious about reviews. I don't feel that I pick out all of the individual notes that others do. But, I gave it a shot
Ive never written a review before but Ill give it a go. Ill review Cardinal. The recipe calls for 8% RY4 and you can really taste it, it gives it that sweet candy like, cracker, pie crust flavour but its not overpowering. The tobacooes in it really punch through the RY4 flavour giving you the feeling that youre smelling tobaccoo. Also I can taste a bit of honey in it. The feeling in the mouth it gives is really smooth, it sort of tickles the roof of my mouth. Anyway yesterday I was vaping some 007 cola and I just mixed some Cardinal and didnt bother to change the cotton so those two juices mixed a bit and it actually tasted great. It tasted like that old ass juice Boba's Bounty.
Butter Menthol, Manana Soda, Suckly My Manly/Creamy Strapon - over in the 'What are you vaping?' thread.
This week has really made me wish I had a ATF account - or that it was free to review - or that the discussion embed wasn't broken... I've really enjoyed reading all the new reviews this week, it's been great seeing lots of new stuff popping up on ATF with a few stars. Makes things much more tempting and accessible.
Most recipes just don't work on my pallette so since it's not fair for me to judge most recipes on my preference I went and reviewed a couple of the only recipes that I did actually enjoy.
https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/ckdcfq/what_are_you_vaping_thread_week_of_july_29_2019/evucqqq/
Thanks for the chance to win this pack. I'm in the UK and will happily cover shipping costs, should I win.
The review can be from the last week or one you write between now and the drawing next week.
And, as I also say in the rules, you can leave the review in this week's "What are you vaping?" thread.
I left a review with comments and suggestions here: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/136609
I'm actually vaping it right now too!
That's cool. But review the rules, it's gotta be within the last week or the next. You got another review in ya? Slap that on a recipe and come back with that link.

This is one of my old favorites finally left a review on it. Remember to steep this peoples
Good luck everyone. I typically keep my comments to myself but I left a review on a classic flavor clone that I've made at least 15 versions of: https://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/226322
Thanks again for doing this.
Unfortunately the only part that could be considered a review is "Love this recipe" the rest is just explaining how you sub a flavor and change the percentage of another... I mean, you can't really love a recipe that much if you want it to be a different recipe ;)
What's your problem? You host a giveaway and then criticize everyone who participated? Fuck me for giving some adaptation suggestions in my review, instead of just "Recipe is good thank u." Give my entry to someone else or just keep it up your ass.
>"Love this recipe, been adapting it literally for years. I typically replace Ripe strawberry with Capella's Sweet Strawberry, and I use a higher percentage of Bavarian cream."
As I said, the only part of your review that is actually reviewing the recipe is the first half of the first sentence. It's not critique as much as it's an application of the rules:
>The review must be more than "This was good!" or "Meh, I didn't like it."
So while it technically had more, the rest didn't really qualify as a review. And it's a review contest. Fuck me for making rules (and jokes, apparently)
But all joking aside; don't you think telling us what you love about the recipe would be more beneficial? Like, if you're reading reviews, don't you look for just a little more detail?
When others were ~~critiqued~~ informed that their reviews didn't qualify, they actually went and made them better, which is a benefit to everyone. But you, you insisted I put something intangible where the sun don't shine--that's just mean, and confusing.... and pretty funny, I'll admit it.
I can totally see where you're coming from, though, and don't take anything you said personally. So if you do add more to it, you can just reply to let me know and I'll gladly put your name on the list :)
Left a comment here a few days ago. Still waiting on the steep

I left my review for Smoky Blue on ELR. She FINALLY joined the other mixers and mixed higher than her usual amounts. It's insane!

Strawberry cream recipe that I found recently. Have always been trying to find the perfect blend for this flavour profile, definitely one of my favourite profiles. I'm still pretty new to the whole DIY scene but I really enjoy the process. What a great giveaway, even if I don't win I could see myself developing a collection like this one day haha. I've never written a review before so it's not as detailed as I'd like but thanks for this "boost" to get me even deeper into this hobby!
Thanks for giving it a shot. Overall I don't know much about what's good in the recipe, based on you saying "the cream side is fantastic" and I don't really want to critique your review, short of deciding whether it qualifies as a review. But the fact that you stepped up and put in more effort than any of the other comments on the recipe gives me hope.
That recipe looks ridiculous (on paper) stacking 4 strawberries and 4 creams and then saying "Trying to create something else, this Strawberry Cream came out."
Off-topic but I'm curious what sold you on trying that recipe in the first place; considering you're new, it has no reviews, and uses 11 flavors to make one of the most ubiquitous/simple profiles in vaping.
Haha no offense taken, seeing some of the other reviews on this thread is eye opening indeed. I wanted to try it cause its new and looked ridiculous tbh. I've personally blended strawberries similarly, using 3 or 4 at once and it has given me better results then choosing just one strawberry.
I definitely need more experience with similar recipes before I can give a more in depth look on what it does and doesn't do well.
Strawberry and cream is my favourite profile currently so I've been trying different recipes, even the ones that aren't popular and highly rated, if anything to improve my knowledge of mixing
Layering is definitely an effective technique. It looks like they just threw a bunch of stuff at the wall to see what stuck, though. Not that there's anything wrong with that if it works or if it's good. And I'm only judging the "oops, look what I did" part of it as I obviously haven't tried it myself.
Looks like you're on the right path. If you've got all those flavors to throw at other people's recipes I'd say it's not a bad time to start mixing up your own version. Start basic and build in the layers... who knows, you might end up with something that hits the spot before you get to 11 ingredients ;)
Here is my review, nice and flavourful :D I'm Joel
Self-reminder post: I got five more days of steeping until I can try Viserion, then I'll post my review :)
Edit: I have now reviewed Viserion under the username SeLeV. The recipes I've posted will link back to my reddit profile.
Welp, good luck everyone, I'm sure the pack won't go to wastelands in whoevers hands it lands, rhyming ends. Haha
Great giveaway but damn how much would it cost to ship these flavours to EU anyway? 70$ minimum.
Drawing will be on Friday so there's still plenty of time to get a review done!
Also, for those outside of the US who might have been holding off on entering: Flavorah just told me they'll be covering the international shipping for this giveaway!
#Update:
The winner has been chosen! Congratulations to /u/TeslaDelMar and thank you to everyone who contributed a review. It really is a win for the creators of those recipes and everyone else looking for recipes to try! Thank you all for participating and hopefully we can do this again.
I tried Summer Drink last week over the course of a few days. The overall flavor didn't change much as it aged, maybe a slight calming of the lime. I could definitely taste a hint of lime throughout, and the cooling was on point. Unfortunately, every time I try making something with honeydew, the honeydew just takes over and I can barely taste anything else. I should've known better but this sounded too good to not try. Occasionally some of the peach would shine through and I would get a glimpse of how amazing this recipe could be (for me) if only honeydew wasn't such a bastard. I'll definitely try making this again because the potential for something truly amazing is most definitely there, but I might cut the honeydew down to a more manageable 1%. Or less.
