Why doesn’t my shitpost have 100 upvotes??
you've been shadowbanned. it's cool. happens to the best of us.
What is love?
My dog saw me vaping and now I'm worried he might start, what do I do?
Order One on One Pork and/or Beef flavors.
I'd also like to avoid being kicked out of the house.
Vape together. Bond over it.
I'm afraid one day I'm going to catch him vaping and he's going to say "Woof woof, woof, woof, woof woof" which translates to "I LEARNED IT FROM WATCHING YOU DAD!!!!!"
Can I use ovaltine powder diluted 10% in PDO?
Why do I get olfactory fatigue really fast with some recipes? Like after a few hits, I can't taste them very much. Does this happen to everyone who vapes those recipes, or is it some quirk in me? Spiced Peaches and Cream was one I remember fading very quickly.
That’s a two flavor recipe with one that can be used as high as 10% as per the notes. So I’m guessing there’s some flexibility there. Sometimes I get used to a flavor and just start to pick up other notes the more I vape them. With two flavors that can mean only picking up on a few random notes and the bulk of it becoming more accustomed to. Anything else fade fast on you? Try to keep a few different mixes in the daily rotation.
>Sometimes I get used to a flavor and just start to pick up other notes the more I vape them.
Ah, I never thought of that. If you stack flavours, even if you stop tasting one of them, you have some backup.
Happens to me with most. The atty and coil I use produces such intense flavor I just get a little fatigued. What I do is switch between iced and non-iced recipes and it seems to help. In perfume, you can somewhat reverse anosmia by smelling coffee beans but I don’t think drinking coffee does anything for vaping fatigue except clash on occasion. I’ve been trying to figure out what helps. I think actually brushing your teeth and eating bread or crackers helps a bit.
I put a lot of WS-23 in pretty much everything. I'll try keeping some non-iced juice around to switch it up. Thanks for the idea.
One thing I always rotate with is a fairly simple pina colada recipe. I mixed it on a road trip once and still use the original recipe. It’s so different from anything else I make that it gives almost all my other recipes a lot of contrast and great transition without rewicking. I’ve found it doesn’t taste like tanning oil or lotion, but pina colada in general is probably one of the more love-it-or-hate-it profiles. It’s just a fantastic staple recipe imo. Tastes ok right away, gets great after just a couple days. Also it’s a good tropical base for anything else you want to throw on top, be it a berry, melon, apple, mango, etc. I once put a couple drops of custard in it and loved it. Happy to share:
4% INW Pineapple
1% INW Shisha Lime
1% PUR White Peach
3% CAP Fresh Coconut
———per 30ml
5-7 drops of Super Sweet
7 drops of TFA Sour
If i vape alfred pudding's Rain while it's raining, will I taste anything?
Where is the best place to buy what you need? I juul now trying to invest in making my own e liquids and get a real mod and everything, what’s the “go to” site to get this for a decent price?
Unless you're ordering vape-shop quantities, no one site is going to do everything the best.
Speaking personally I buy flavors from Bull City, nic from VapersTek, VG and PG from Essentials Depot (Amazon), and most of my gear from ElementVape.
Nice, thanks. Most of the sites I checked out just look a little sketchy, so I wanted other opinions. Thanks!
Fasttech, if you know what you're doing. (If gear s new, alwayz try coupon code MAP. Never orxer anyything that isn't actually in stock. 'In stock' doesn't mean they actuly have it in stock, anything they have in stock s listed as 'ships next day/ships same day'. Always upgrade shipping. There's always a bit of a customs delay, so be prepared for your order to take up to two weeks to get to you. Don't buy any bateries or internal battery devices. Don't bjy juice components from them either.)
For the juice ingredients, it depends. Assuming you're a merkin, NicRiver is good for fpavors, bases, and nic, if you aren't vaping tobacco flavors. If you are, you need to shop around a few places for flavors, vaperstek and BCF should have most of what you need.
I just bought the DIY starter kit from nicotineriver.com. Comes with everything you need to start, including 15 different 15ml bottles of flavor concentrate of your choosing. Not saying to buy exclusively from there but it's a decent starter kit
How do I use 70/30 base, 100% PG Nic, 100%VG nic and all PG-based flavourings to set up an unflavored nicotine base and just add flavourings to shake-n-vape and consistently hit a nice level of 3-4mg/ml and over 70% VG?
Thus is my story and these are my problems.
We need to know the concentration of your VG based nic. And you need the following flavors:
FLV arabian tobacco
FLV classc cigarette
TFA yaro
TFA cinnamon spice
TFA blackberry
iNW lemon mix
And a lot of 120ml bottles. Add a drop or two of an one or two of your flavors into each bottle and top off with your premix. Done. The lemon is a little on the weak side, you might need three or four drops to taste it.
I have a bunch of flavors I like already, mostly as single flavors. My nic is 60mg/ml in both PG and VG variants. I'm tight in cash right now so I can't buy anything else
Ok, I'm gonna assume you have lots and lots of bottles. How much of each flavor do you like? Basic idea, we gonna dedicate one bottle per flavor to dilute your flavors untill they're all identical potency for you. Then, knowing that amount, we can figure out how much VG based nic to premix so your final juice will be 4mg/ml concentration. Note that your VG percentage will fluctuate based on what your current usage rate for different flavors are, but at least in most cases you will have pretty close to 70% VG. Especially if you mostly like FLV flavors but you also like TFA White Chocolate. (Most of your flavors would thus be ~60-65% VG once diluted. And your premix would be ~72.5% VG so in most cases, so other than the white chocolate, you're looking at ~71% VG.
I use a stock premix that's different to yours (50/50, 50mg salt nic) to test flavours or shake & vape & it works fine. As long as your flavour ingredients aren't a huge percentage of the total mix (say <10%) the overall percentages will be close enough not to be a problem.
So, if you're making a 5ml tester, measure out your 0.5ml of flavourings into the bottle, & fill it up with your stock premix. Your total nic will be low by only 10%, which if you started with 4mg, works out to 3.6mg, which is a difference you won't even notice.
How to make your stock premix, of 70% VG, 30% PG, 4mg nic:
I'll go with 100ml total to make the maths easier to follow.
(Assuming your nic is 100mg/ml in PG.)
Put 70ml of plain VG in your measuring flask.
Here's where the maths kicks in:
You want a total of 4mg nic in 100ml, so you need a total of 400mg of pure nic in your mix.
Your nic is 100mg/ml, so divide your total nic requirement (400mg) by that to get 4, = 4ml of nic base.
So add 4ml of your nic base to your measuring flask.
Fill to 100mls with PG, stir it, put it in a bottle, & shake the crap out of it. Don't forget to label it clearly.
Done.
I still don't know where to use PG-based nic of VG-based nic, and my nic is 60mg/ml but that can just be plugged into the math. what I've been noticing is that with VG-based nicotine I get more hot spots but with PG-based nic I get a scratchy throat. once I can afford to I'm going to just start buying separate PG and VG so I won't have to worry about this.
> a difference you won't even notice.
Consciously. Your body will tell the difference, and it will fuck with your reward center in the brain.
Also, he wanted 70VG minimum, preferably. Making 70:30 premix will result in less than 70VG every time.
Also his nic was 60mg/ml (guessing from canaduh) not 100mg/ml so that math is wrong for him.
>Consciously. Your body will tell the difference, and it will fuck with your reward center in the brain.
Sure. And you'll take longer puffs or more of them, as required to get the nic level in your blood up to what you're used to. (This is why switching to lower nic cigs just makes you smoke more of them, which has been shown in actual studies.)
But again we're talking about, at most, 4mg vs 3.6mg, in OP's scenario. It'll make bugger all difference.
>Also, he wanted 70VG minimum, preferably. Making 70:30 premix will result in less than 70VG every time.
Go back & re-read my comment, & hopefully you'll figure out where you got that wrong.
TL;DR: No; if OP follows those instructions, they'll get premix with *exactly* 70% VG. (Not that it matters that much.)
>Also his nic was 60mg/ml (guessing from canaduh) not 100mg/ml so that math is wrong for him.
Sure. OP didn't provide that info in the comment that I replied to, so I went with the most common case. I was just illustrating the method.
Any experience with Kratom e juice ??? Im just trying , with 1.0 ohm coil , Pinacolada flavor damn good . No wierd taste or some after notes , still waiting for some effect . Any suggestion how to DIY :)
http://imgur.com/a/quioSfj
From my understanding of the typical effective dosages required, there’s no way you could actually vape enough Kratom eJuice to feel anything.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
Nope all right there , im ussualy taking 3-5 g as dose . Just was curious to figure out how they formulated e juice , looks 70/30 VG/PG , and how they mixed extract or whatever , bottle looks legit . Guess it's meant as energy shot :)
What percentage should i use galia melon and saskatoon berries both wf at?
There was some guy that put together a starting percentage guide or list or some such nonsense. If those damn mods had put it in the sidebar I could point you in the right direction.
How often should I test juice while it's steeping?
So much stuff abt cbd in vaping now. I wonder if someone has made a rba like carts for cbd oil.
I tried it once and it's pretty good. But each cartomizer costs like 100 usd here (not from US). So I wonder if it's easier to get the oil/powder and just make my own.
1 - Any experience with mixing for the Caliburn. Its super weird, even 0.2% CAP SSweet makes my mouth feel like i gave canderel a blowie. Also, the 6-4-2 Mango-Peach-Mango mix just tastes like PURE peach. I dropped it down to 1.5% peach and still tastes ONLY like peach. UGH. Finally, creams just DO NOT come out on this device. Any type of bavarian cream, vanilla swirl, CGC recipes taste like powdery air...
2 - Any way to get a caffeine hit from a vape? Thinking of steeping crushed pro plus with pure VG and mixing that with like, 40% nic, to make a "Morning Hit" vape. Anyone want to experiment with me? u/ID10-T ??????
Consider how much juice you vape every hit. Next consider 100mg is about a minimum dosage of caffeine you'll notice. So you need more than 1g/ml to do this.
Also, of course. Mango always tastes (what is the appropriate verb, equivalent to "reeks" here?)like peach. A drop or two of pinesol is probably what you are missn.
Caffeine in a vape is pointless. Don't bother
Why the fuck are there people who think that putting saline in their mix has any effect on flavour?
I don't think they do. I thought it was because they were avoiding PG
The usual line is that it improves the flavour, somehow.
Someone knows a recipe or clone of Phillip Rocke Grand Reserve Honey Cream?
I was really hoping that flavor would be good but I hated it. :/
Outch... this is the flavor I love. If I have money enough to vape only Phillip Rocke Grand Reserve... I probably would be the happiest vaper on earth
If you have any options or say another flavor that I can test, would be nice too
Since it's quite popular around here and you guys know your shit.
What type of coils do you find give the best flavour in the C4?
Triple Fused Claptons from Advanced Vape Supply. They are SS. I put them shits on everything I own.
