The passed bunch of orders I've gotten from nude had taken forever to ship. They'll create a label then wont ship for days. I even had to cancel an order and go through another vendor. Today I called and asked how long it would be till it shipped and they wouldn't give me a straight answer and try to blame USPS. Why can't these guys get their act together? They've been in business for years and still can't manage the company correctly? Sorry for the rant. Just wanted to give my personal update on their status. Sadly nothing has changed :(
edit: spelling
We used Nude nicotine for over four years at tbd but stopping using them earlier this year. It’s too bad because Jake used to run a really good company that cared about it’s product.
- They once sent us over 200 gallons of VG with bad pH so we couldn’t use it. Never even offered to pick it up, very costly for us to get rid of it. VG can’t easily be dumped.
- Quality of nicotine became hit or miss. Nicotine was either really good & fresh or really bad and old. As time has gone on they started sending older and older nicotine, until the last batch we ordered was so dark and brown we couldn’t even justify using it. It made all of our juice look like sludge, it was appalling that they would send something with such low quality out to a customer. Just because they don’t care about their product doesn’t mean that we don’t care about ours.. Reached out to Jake on Facebook and email, as well as sent multiple emails to their regular customer service emails, and we were straight ignored. We had never been ignored like this in the past. Maybe slighted like with the VG issue, but never ignored.
- That same week that we reach out to them over the bad nicotine on email & Facebook they start running a sale so I knew they weren’t going out of business, they seemed to want to grow their business. I actually got a marketing email in my inbox that weekend touting their great quality..yikes 😣 sending poor quality product and then ignoring customers is not the Nude nicotine we started working with years ago.
Honestly to me it seems like whoever is in charge of the day to day there is just trying to bring in as much sales as possible and doesn’t care much about customer experience. We swapped over to nic river at the start of the year and they’ve treated us a lot better and seem to genuinely care about the quality of their product. They get stuff out quick. They always answer their phone and email, and when they’ve made a mistake on an order of ours they’ve rectified it on their dime.
You know, all the things a business should do..
just looked at nic river. The price is kind of amazing which scares me. How do they sell at 1/2 the price of nude and 1/3 the price of cx?
They did right by me when I ordered my first kit for DIY. The salt nic was a bit orangish but that is to be excepted half the time from any supplier (from what I’ve read). This is also a very minor thing but they package their stuff very efficiently and nicely
> They did right by me
Same here. I got a gallon of PG from them but didn't need it right away. It sat in my basement (where it's cool and dark), bottle still sealed for 3 months. When I opened it, it had a strange odor like diesel or nail polish remover. I contacted them to check the batch #. They replied that they hadn't had any complaints similar to mine and gave me a tracking number for a replacement gallon. I was blown away at how awesome that was of them. Things like that inspire my loyalty.
Jake is a super smart dude, and really innovative stuff came from NN during its heyday. A shame their QC and PR has seemed to really fall by the wayside, as its really hurt their rep not just in DIY but commercially as well.
My first order (2016?) was from them on a much smaller scale. 120ml of 100mg nic is what it was I think. It took them ten days to ship it. When it showed up, what I got was pepper sauce. I was so excited to get started and mix something up That shit was a downer. Small potatoes compared to a juice line type volume. But they still wronged me and I've been warning people about NN ever since. Vaperstek seemed like a godsend after that.
Every fucking week for the past two years I see this post. Please god quit buying from them.
Hell I wanna say I’ve been seeing questionable quality and service reports from them for about 4 years. I know they were popular when I started researching diy, but before I placed my first order I had seen enough complaints that I went with wizard labs. Then when they had security issues I went to Carolina extracts, which btw I would highly recommend.
So seriously would you all just stop purchasing from nude, clearly they don’t care about us. Let’s stop rewarding them.
- BTW OP I’m not trying to put you on blast. This subreddit kills me with the nude nic bullshit.
Because every once in a while, when someone asks about NN on here, shills come out of the woodwork.
> Yes, they take a bit to ship. But the prices are good and the product is fantastic
And 12 other shill accounts all agree. It gives people just enough of a feeling of
> Maybe the complainers are just hard to please or it was an unlucky shipment. I'll give NN a try
It's a continuing cycle I've seen for years, and nothing can convince me that the NN nut huggers are anything but shills. I mean come on, they were removed from the recommended vendors list a LONG time ago. And it takes a lot to get that to happen.
Please be aware that more than a few users of this sub have had issues with Nude Nicotine. Please research any vendor thoroughly before placing an order.

I think what annoys me the most is the fact that they advertise same day shipping on their site. This has never been the case on any of my orders.
I've ordered from them 3 times now. First two were reasonable. Not speedy, not molasses, but ok. Last order though, seemed to take them over a week to get my nic out the door. That's too long to sit on, if I'm down to reserves.
Will probably look into another vendor. Others are mentioning nic river - how are their products? I usually buy 120's or 240's of 100mg/ml smooth salts.
> Others are mentioning nic river - how are their products?
For regular nic their Chemnovatic I ordered last time was clean. I got 480ml and was a bit worried. But I cant tell the difference from Vaperstek. That's who I usually buy from. I see some complaints on their PurNic regular nicotine. But PurNic Salts are really good.
Honestly, that's bad timing.
Always, if there is any way possible, buy all your nic during fall/winter. Winter is best, especially if you order from the eastern seaboard (you don't want hurricanes fucking up your shipping. But more so, you don't want your stuff shipped during the really hot times.... Extreme heat is bad for nic and flavors.
Why do you (and other posters) still use them if they are so bad? Seems they get a lot of repeat business from people with multiple bad experiances with them. Fool me once...
