About Lemonades
submitted about 6 years ago by Maxxx1213

Hello again, I recently wanted to give lemonades a try, but the only lemon's I have are FA Lemon Sicily, CAP Juicy Lemon, CAP Pink Lemonade.. pink lemonade isn't what I'm looking for, and been mixing sicily @ 4% and juicy lemon @ 2%, flavor is very nice but dies down after a couple of days, and easily get's drowned by other fruits.

I heard a lot of good things about LA lemonade but currently out of stock on chef's.. I also heard about FE lemon to boost other lemons. Question I have is should I order FE right now as it will boost my overall lemon presence in my existing lemonade base (which I really like except for the cons it has that I mentioned), or should I just wait for LA lemonade because it's better than all of the above?

Thank you kind sir/madamme ;-)

Adding another lemon sadly won't help Lemon Sicily from fading. It's best used as an assist. Not a main. Rainbow doesn't have LA in stock?

Edible is right FA Lemon Sicily will fade on you. You don't need LA Lemonade. I like a combination of FLV Lemonade, VT Lemonade Clear and FE Lemon. Alternatively, a lot of people swear by FW Lemonade, but I find it a bit flat and not very lemony. PUR Lemonade is also quite decent. I think LA Lemonade is a little over-rated but that's just my opinion.
We all have different taste buds.

Oh I see, I'll have to wait until next time I order from chef's... do you have an idea on what's the best use for sicily and juicy lemon? I have about 60 ml's of each left XD

I second PUR Lemonade. I made a half assed lemon cookie recipe with PUR Lemonade, meringue, and graham cracker clear. It actually turned out pretty good. It's not the most natural lemon but it works well at around 1% and resists fade pretty well. Higher concentrations of it will get you straight lemonheads candy.

You could probably do a nice lemonade with a blend of JF Lemon, JF Lemon Juicy, and INW Lemon Mix. Maybe a touch of honeysuckle would help. I probably should nail down the exact ratio... INW Lemon Mix with FW lemonade is probably good enough tho.

Can’t recommend flv lemonade enough as a base. Especially if you but a dab of flv lime too.

solo flv lemonade doesnt do well enough for me, you gotta boost that thang up. I tried flv lemonade/cap harvest berry/little bit koolada. It was a disappointment.

I have it in a lemon sorbet with A bit of yellow passion fruit and lemon Sicily for a stand-alone lemon flavour. That is wonderful for me! You are right though - as a stand-alone FLV needs a boost but excellent as a base for other berries.

I like FLV Lemonade with a bit of their lemon added. It needs help but it holds its weight really well with stuff added on top.

I've tried to make lenonade/lemon sherbet juice since times of vamo and aspire bvc tanks at 15w without luck. Recently I've found id-10t recipe for simple lemonade, it's damn easy to tweak or add ice/fruits to it.

His recipe call for

3% [INW] Lemon

1% [INW] Lemon mix

What I've added on top of it to make it more for my liking is

4% [TPA] Strawberry (ripe)

1.5% [OTHER] WS23 (30%)

0.5% [TPA] Sweetener

I need to take that recipe down since they've reformulated INW Lemon

Really? I've bought my concentrates from chefs flavour on 1st Mar. Lemon mix came in rebottled chefs bottle, lemon is original inawera bottle with gold lid. Don't know if my concentrates are old or new batch but I've tried everything lemon/lime /lemonade concentrate wise (Fa lemon sicilly, tpa lemon and key Lime, pink lemonade, LA lemon(ade?), fw lemonade and pi k lemonade, probably bunch of more concentrates I can't recall atm) and it range from bad, to okay for 2-3days and then fade away. Your real lemonade isn't most accurate lemon flavour I've ever vaped.

I think that just means you really like INW Lemon Mix. And it's also still pretty good, it's just not what it was before they changed the formula for INW Lemon like two years ago

Here in Aus, lemonade is a sprite kind of flavour. I’m thinking you’re more after a squash type of taste.

LA lemonade is overrated and quite old world. VT lemonade clear with FA lemon Sicily would be quite nice. I personally like VT Lemonade clear with CAP lemon lime though. I just love sprite and I find that’s probably the closest flavour to getting a sprite flavour.

Sprite is completely unrelated to lemonade, which was the topic.
