I am mixing with salt nic, e-juice will e used on a pod system.
NOTE: I will be using Salt Nicotine, not regular nicotine, also it will be used on a POD system, not sub-ohm.
I want to know up to what percentage is safe or okay to go up to.
Eonsmoke stik uses 6.8% meaning 68mg/ml Stig uses 6%, 60mg/ml Juul uses 5% by weight comes out around 59mg/ml
My question is is it ok to do it at 8%, 80mg/ml.
Thanks.
Edited: removed a line.
The higher you go the harder it will be too get good flavor. Personally I wouldn't go over 50%. Even when I started at 50% I have gotten it does to around 35%. The goal is to get off of nicotine so I would say maybe just take a few extra puffs if you need to but don't go that high with the nicotine for your own sake.
If you are just using the nicotine to get a head rush I would suggest looking into alternative options.
Edit: ya, 5%, not 50%, I dunno why but I was just thinking what percentage of my juice is nicotine.
I have to second you. Im stuck at 50 in a restricted airflow tank(zenith) due to tolerance. Most juices really taste gross at 50 and above. The bitter, the peppery sting really sucks the enjoyment out of it
And this is why I'm thinking the head rush is the goal. And there's nothing wrong with that, I mean hell, it's why I started smoking to begin with. But just be honest about the goal.
About 5 years ago I used to smoke 2 packs of cigs a day. I got 24mg freebase juice in a nautilus and almost puked from the nic. How do some people have that high a tolerance?
8%? No way.
7.9% hell yeah
Not sure what country you're in but the legal maximum in Canada is 66mg/ml so anything beyond that is considered illicit nicotine use
Legal for purchase, sale, or import. But if you have juice that predates the law, you aren't legally required to not vape it.
I mean sure, go ahead and give yourself nicotine poisoning
Well, this is true too. Just pointing out the part about the law. (Just like they 'suggest' people who have 100mg/ml base dispose of it at a hazardous waste depot, but they can't require I use the weak-ass nicotine base they have limited us to.
I have an Infinix and Novo that I run 50mg per ml in but if I'd put that in the Pal 2 or Caliburn it is just way too much so I mix at 30-40mg for them. I also run Salts in my drippers and tanks but only 10mg. I had an Orion and had to run it at 65-70mg because I had it running at low wattage in order to keep from burning pods and didn't give me anything for flavor anyway.
I've sub ohmed 10% before. I'm sure you'll be fine at 8% with a pod
Perfect example of people doing stupid shit while vaping and giving us all a bad name. Let me guess, you did it on a mech mod with a 0.08ohm build while your battery wraps were teared? Safety guidelines are there for a reason.
I had someone in a YouTube comment tell me that "if you vape 50 mg nic salts in a sub tank you'll just cough and never do it again".
That's probably true for most people, but it could be much different for anyone that might not be in the best cardiovascular health, or is more sensitive to nicotine.
This was in a conversation about whether you can/should put nic salts in a sub tank. Technically nic salts aren't necessarily a high mg, but most commercially sold nic salts are 30-50 from what I've seen.
A lot of new vapers might not fully understand the nic concentrations, so I was warning them to be careful when saying you can use nic salts in anything. They flipped out lol.
Perfect example of people saying stupid shit because they don't know the context.
OP asked if he'd be ok if he vaped 8%. Wasn't advocating that he should. Just stating it wouldn't kill him.
As for context, early on with diy'ing ejuice I accidentally formulated a batch at 10% instead of 5%. Was in the middle of mixing and had to drop what I was doing to take care of something else. When I came back to it, I forgot I had already added nicotine. Vaping that wasn't a pleasant experience.
Also educate yourself about nicotine when it comes to sub ohm vaping vs pods
