'What are you vaping?' Thread - Week of June 17, 2019
submitted over 6 years ago by c5b4c91772c729fc7d0a

This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the June Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread

Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.

If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.

Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping! We keep an archive of all the past threads in our wiki as well

Happy Vaping!

Three amazing things:

Blueberry Champagne by Developed.

Co. | Flavor | % ---|---|---- FW | Blueberry | 3 FLV | Citrus Soda | 1.75 FLV | Brut Bubble Wine | 0.5 VT | Fizzy Sherbet |1 OTHR | WS-23 (30%) | 0.25

Perfectly shake and vapeable. I don't remember actually "helping" to create this, with this but I'm giddy just to be able to say I was there when Blueberry Champagne happened. I can't get over how good this is, especially considering how quickly it came together. Developed had two hours during the Kindground Mixathon to create this recipe, expecting to be be live mixing various iterations until it came out right. Instead it was beautiful in like 10 minutes and there was nothing left to do with the time slot but devolve into shenanigans and do stupid human tricks in exchange for donations. Also, that blueberry can apparently be swapped out fairly easily for other fruits. Ask /u/max-savage about his Mango Champagne.

What the Yam? by /u/kindground . Review: I can't say I "like" this juice, but I respect the hell out of it. So many recipes promise to have all these layers of flavor but vape like a bunch of stuff all muddled together, especially the ones that are more complex. This one actually delivers. That's pretty freakin awesome! Also the marshmallow and strawberry syrup layers are delicious. It just turns out that vaping an authentic candied yam is more enjoyable to me in my imagination than in actuality.

In other words, if you really do want to vape a candied yam with strawberry syrup, marshmallow, and sugar cookie crumbles, it delivers marvelously. But it kind of makes me wonder how it would do without the yam.

And, speaking of recipes that deliver, Jacked up Sundae by TamVapes. It's got FLV Butterscotch, FLV Caramel, WF Caramel Popcorn and Peanuts, HS French Vanilla Ice Cream, FLV Popcorn, FLV Toffee, LB Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, and FLV Whipped Cream. When I tired it after six days I got everything promised in the description, which is a lot! Caramel, toffee, butterscotch, peanuts, popcorn, and ice cream. Even a little whipped cream in the finish. It really delivered all that without being muddled up, somehow. Then I put it away and just got it out again, two months later. Holy wow! The layers are less distinct now, but it's so sweet, rich, smooth, and delicious that I think you need to re-evaluate your life choices if you haven't tried this one.

I completely agree with What the Yam?! I hate Yams I’m real life but wanted to support Kindground by buying the recipe pack. Vaped it at two weeks and then again at three weeks. Can’t stand the Yam part of the recipe, but damn if the description is not spot on. Can also attest that the strawberry/marshmallow layer is delicious.

How do you figure that champagne would do replacing the blueberry with elderberry?

your father smelt of elderberries

But also, I dunno, man, I have never used an elderberry flavor.

Your mother was a hamster.

(And yeah, I thought of that before asking the question. But thought you'd tried all the 'uncommon' berries by now.)

Golden Arches Shake by Shyndo (ATF)

This is one of my favorite vapes at the moment, I absolutely adore it. Well, I also absolutely adore chocolates. And being that I am a diabetic, I can enjoy as much of this as I want to! One of the ups of vaping! The Vape Train Devon Cream in the recipe is just so good, it‘s maddening, lol. Check it out if you haven’t tried it yet!

V2 chocolate? Damn. Not one of the ones in my collection. Actually, unless I have VT Devon Cream, I don't have any of those flavors.

This is a POD device recipie and 30mg/ml of salt nic.

Name: Dragon Cream

Steep: Minimum 3 days, although SNV not too bad tbh.

|Co|Flav|%| |:-|:-|:-| |TFA|Bavarian Cream|8| |TFA|Vanilla Swirl|10| |TFA|Graham Cracker Cheesecake|13| |TFA|DragonFruit|9| ||||

I think the dragonfruit could be upped, and the graham cracker either dropped or reduced to 10%.

It is my first recipie that I quite like, and think the cream base is pretty solid. I will try this with reduced % and longer steep and write back

That a lot of flavor

Yes possibly. I think concensus is to increase flavour % by about 1.5 for nic salt (and high mg, low wattage mtl device).

This is for my JUUL. Will try with lower for sure.

I've made good salt recipes around 10% 30 is pretty high

Edit: oh shit 40

This has been my go to for over a week now. It says SnV but with a one week steep it's really damn good.

Just finished a 30ml of Subliminal at day 35.

This one is a licorice peach custard. It's good. Not fantastic but a very, very solid recipe. The high amount of CAP VC actually gets covered almost completely by the licorice and peach. The INW peach is pairing very well with the absinthe. Orange cream not noticable but adds to the weirdness of this recipe. This one is getting tiring at the end of 30ml. All 30ml on one wick which is surprisingly clean at the end of the bottle. I've had my own "Plicorice" recipe for a long time before trying this but mine isn't a custard base. It also pairs INW Peach with TFA absinthe and FA Black Touch but also has TFA Juicy Peach. Peach and licorice is a great pairing.

Right after this I decided to finally test Plicorice #2 which has been sitting on my shelf for just over 4 months. Recipe development on this one has been really slow because I always decide to vape something else. Anyways, I think mine is a bit more enjoyable than the Subliminal. It doesn't have the seedy note from FA Anise that is doing weird stuff with TFA Orange Cream. Plicorice #1 did not have TFA Absinthe in it and the peaches were too high, so I reduced them for #2. Turns out I cut them back a bit too much. So here is Plicorice #3 which will probably be very close to dialed in and will likely be my final version. There is no cream, custard, or vanilla needed here since the body and sweetness is nicely filled out by the FA Apricot and Black Touch.

Plicorice #3

|FA Apricot|3%| |:-|:-| |TFA Absinthe|2%| |FA Black Touch|1.5%| |TFA Juicy Peach|1.5%| |INW Peach|0.75%|
