Looking at something that lets the green tea flavor shine through.
TFA Green Tea is the start, lemon tends to taste a bit like chemicals to me. So I'm thinking maybe lime or kiwi?
Open to any suggestions
Floral notes go really nicely with green tea, especially hibiscus and honeysuckle (I posted a lychee/hibiscus green tea recipe in the monthly recipe thread you can try). A simple floral & fruit combination should see you right, but I tend to avoid acidic fruit flavours.
I am always cautious with using too much green tea as it can have a bitter aftertaste, but this can be overcome with a touch of sweetener (unless you happen to like it).
I am planning to try a marshmallow/FLV milk and honey experiment with it soon 🙂.
When I first got into DIY, I wanted to make a green tea vape.
I started with FW Green Tea. Tastes like dirt and is extremely potent. Not worth your money.
Then went on to FE Green Tea. This was lightyears better, and I could finally work forward on some green tea recipes. However, it was still moderately harsh with a couple off-notes.
Then comes FLV Eisai Tea. This is the holy grail of green tea. Any green tea recipes I make will include it.
This is my first recipe, Shinto.

And this recipe I haven't put on ATF yet, called Guango Tea.
- FLV Eisai Tea 0.4%
- CAP Sweet Guava 3%
- CAP Sweet Mango 2%
You'll need a better tea. FE Green Tea isn't bad. FLV Eisai tea is really good but I've not mixed with it yet. Here's a recipe I put together a while back. It's nice and floral but light on the tea. I like my teas pretty subtle.
