This thread is for you to share what you are vaping lately, be it your own or another mixers recipe. Maybe you happened to stumble upon your new ADV in the June Recipes Thread? Or did someone recommend your first mix to you in the Suggest a recipe for my flavors Thread
Share what you liked or didn't like too much, but most importantly, please make sure to properly link to the recipe and to the mixer if they're on reddit.
If you need some inspiration, some websites keep track of your mixes and batches: e-Liquid Recipes and All The Flavors.
Also make sure to checkout last week's thread for inspiration or to follow up on a mix that turned out even better after a week of steeping! We keep an archive of all the past threads in our wiki as well
Happy Vaping!
Mixed up this Mango Cheesecake last night and I'm in love with it! :D Still working on it, tho.
Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|----
CAP | NY Cheesecake | 6%
TFA | Graham Cracker Clear | 2%
FLV | Mango | 1%
TFA | Peach Juicy | 0.5%
TFA | Dragonfruit | 0.25%
CAP | Super Sweet | 1%
As it is, it's a rich cheesecake with a gooey mango topping. Thinking of adding in 0.25% FA Lemon Sicily to add to the cheesecake and give an extra twist to the mango. I was considering CAP Sweet Mango, but I'm happy I didn't as that would be a bit too much rich and would taste more candy considering the CAP SS. One problem I'm having is I'm not getting the graham cracker at all. Might just need a bump.
I'm enjoying this tasty Strawberry Shorty by /u/eyemakepizza and it's helping me not be too brokenhearted that I've run out of Golden Snozzberry Custard by the Blue Team from last week's Mixer Showdown. I'm not kidding when I say that the Snozz is the best recipe I've tried all year. But, I got a tip from someone who said it's somehow even better if you just leave out the Strawberry Ripe. So, I'll be mixing that up soon.
I'm also finishing off a failed attempt at a Krispy Kreme donut. It's failed because WF Glazed Donut and especially FLV Sweet Dough both grow with a steep and now taste like too much of some things, but it still goes well with coffee and I'm still thinking about how to fix it.
Will snozz work without the honey?
It will absolutely work without Milk & Honey, but it will also seriously injure the recipe. Dave is kind enough to say it's the best recipe he's tried all year, and without Milk & Honey you will not have the same experience.
Without Milk & Honey? I seriously doubt it but that's really a question for /u/alfredpudding , /u/staybert , and/or /u/glasschalice468
Our initial plan was to use INW Biscuit (I think), could be JF, not sure. So you could try replace with either of those if you have (at 0.25%). I do however feel it's probably one of the most important parts of this recipie, as all other flavors are kind of "meh". Props to /u/glasschalice468 for that genious move.
> it's somehow even better if you just leave out the Strawberry Ripe.
This would seem self-evident in all recipes, although that one is still plagued by vanilla and strawberry, even with the improvement.
It has two strawberry flavors in it but doesn’t taste like strawberry — at all. I know you hate strawberry, but you’re holding yourself back by seeing the name “strawberry” on the flavor label and assuming that’ll make something taste like strawberry and therefore be awful to you.
But not this one, this one is not for you because it definitely does have vanilla.
I dunno. While I accept Lombardi's claim that the pursuit of perfection can lead to the capture of greatness, I don't see it being a corollary that attempting to create a horrible flavor can result in accidentally creating something even halfdecent. If the manufacturers are trying to create something as bad as strawberry, how could they make something good?
I feel a bit boring as I've not tried any other peoples recipies past week. I do try every recipie I can though if I have the flavors!
I am however working on a few different profiles, blueberry waffles, orange soda and a PB Jam recipie that is still a WIP but might as well let you guys in on it.
GOLDEN PB JAM
|Co.|Flavor|%| |:-|:-|:-| |TFA|DX Peanut Butter|4| |VT|Bilberry Ripe|2.5| |FLV|Jammy Berry|0.5| |VT|Golden Syrup|1| |VT|Croissant|3| |JF|Biscuit|0.25|
This is a steeper though, 7+ days and it becomes really yummy. What I'm kind of debating here is if I should add some kind of custard/cream (got a few different versions steeping), but I feel it might muddle out the bread/croissant part of the recipie and not make the jam as prominent as it is right now. Any feedback here (even just in theory) is very much appriciated.
An orange soda vape sounds top tier. I might have to take a stab at that as well.
Yeah it's so damn refreshing to vape oranges, but I found it quite hard to get the balance between the lime (to provide the "fizz") and oranges right. Also it easily becomes watery if you put too much citruses in. Let us know how it goes if you go for it!
Last time I took a stab at a soda I was using tfa champagne but couldn’t really get a good fizzy note, had a little success with that and lime in a Mountain Dew code red recipe I was going for. I picked up some VT Fizzy Sherbet that I’ve been meaning to try after hearing about. I think I’ll probably try tinkering with the orange base from /u/vurve’s orange dreamsicle recipe. I think mandarin would be a solid base. What orange flavors are you working with?
This looks pretty good. I dont generally go for fruity but it has a enough of the cakey effect to balance it out. I have been thinking of doing some sort of blueberry muffin setup. Let us know how the custard addition turns out, sounds like it should be an improvement to me :D
Bert! This looks cracker mate, and I have everything for it! You won my trust with Citraspberry Soda, you know I'll be all over this! I'm gonna put this in the cupboard for a month while I'm overseas, I'll tell you what it's like.
Crunch from WF Crispy Wafer? Does Marzipan have a role here for sweet/crunchy/nutty? Is Butter Pecan... buttery enough? Is a Bavarian Cream that heavy sweetness you're looking for? (Maybe a non TFA Bav Cream, like JF?)
Cheers mate! Na don't reckon it needs crisp/bready things in it hey, so I'm not too sure about the Wafer. Marzipan could definitley be interesting as I've found it plays quite well with Bilberry Ripe, I'll definitley give it a go hey! I've also tried with some Acetyl Pyrazine but even just a drop stands out too much for my liking.
Yeah TFA Bavarian Cream is one I have steeping right now, also FA Custard Premium. Unfortunately don't have JF BC but I've heard good things about it. I'm not too convinced though that creams will make it better, because the jam part is quite "wet" if that makes any sense.
Thanks for the feedback mate, appriciate it heaps! Hope you have a cracker of a time overseas.
Banana & Butterscotch Custard

Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|----
TFA | Banana Nut Bread | 4
FW | Butterscotch Ripple | 3
CAP | Vanilla Custard | 1.5
LB | Vanilla Ice Cream | 3.5

A few days but it's vapapble off the shake
I just cant get into the fruity stuff, and have been making the same mix for years now:
80/20 VG/PG, 24 mg/mL
4% cookie/sugar cookie
3% RY4
2% Pistachio
2% Butterscotch
2% Vanilla

I steep it for an hour in an ultrasonic cleaner for immediate use, so the taste doesn't really have a chance to change over time. I have so many flavorings my home office (where I store everything) smells like a bakery, but in the end I just keep reordering those 5 lol.
7% CAP honeysuckle
4% TFA Kiwi
1% CAP Super sweet
Straight fruity honeysucle even though the flavor never seems to want to pop normally, might have to try a different sweetener next time though.
There's a CAP honeysuckle?
Try TFA Honeysuckle. And it doesn't need sweetener (it adds a lot of sweetness on it's own) and is best kept under 3%
Been really enjoying Viserion by /u/id10-t that stuff is delicious and refreshing!! Also I recently got my first lemonade flavor in so I'm trying my hand at lemonade recipes. This is my current concoction: Pretty tasty cherry raspberry limeade!
Co. | Flavor | % :--------|:--------:|---------: INW | Cherries | .75 TPA | Cotton Candy (EM) | .5 FW | Lemonade (Natural) | 4 FA | Lime Tahiti (Cold Pressed) | 1 INW | Raspberry (Malina) | .5 TPA | Raspberry, Sweet | 2 CAP | Tart Cherry | 2 CAP | Super Sweet | .2 N/A | Ws-23 (30%) | .5
I'm glad you're enjoying that Viserion! I wish I'd mixed some up for myself three weeks ago and could have it today.
Still vaping a lot of my Blackcurrant cactus mix (I made a big batch when I first mixed it, because I was pretty confident it would be good...which was accurate. It is. A cactus-heavy candy flavor. Although I'm already planning variants for the next time i get a chance to mix.)
5% CAP Sweet Guava
2% CAP Lemon Lime
1% INW Cactus
1% TFA Dragonfruit
.5% FA Lemon Sicily
.5% CAP Super Sweet
65/35 VG/PG, 6mg/ml
Dripping this mix in the Ammit MTL RDA. I find it quite tasty but it may be a bit too acidic for some or too top heavy if vaped from a non MTL atomizer.
Anyone got any tips to improve this?
10% Cap Harvest Berry
10% FA Forrest Mix
I find if i go with singular it's a little dry, i like this mix but i find it a little sweet, would using less concentrate improve this?
Milk & Honey, it's wired because I keep going back and forth between loving it and feeling like it's missing something. I wanna add something to it but at the same time I don't. But I keep going back to it.
