Red Team
Puff The Magic Dragon
Get immersed in the world of Puff The Magic Dragon. Asian tea with a combination of exotic fruits from the east form a red painting of flavors. The combination of Sweet and Eisai Tea creates a deep base with a spices and bold black background. The citrus mix of lemon and orange on FLV Tangerine contrast with tropical sweet taste of WF Cherimoya and the TPA Dragonfruit blends all together perfectly. Finally TPA Waffle sweetens the mix in a golden and dense way
(WF) Cherimoya 2%
(FLV) Eisai Tea 1%
(TPA) Sweet Tea 10%
(FLV) Tangerine 1%
(TPA) Dragonfruit 2%
(TPA) Waffle Belgian 1%
(CAP) Super Sweet 0.5%

Red Team Scores
Taste: 6/10 -- So this isn't a terrible recipe. The tea base is actually pretty awesome, and the fruit combination is very interesting. Unfortunately, after much consideration and deliberation it has to be said... this tastes like a dryer sheet a little bit. Something about the interaction between what we assume to be Eisai Tea and the fruits leads to a result that is a bit floral and a bit off. The lingering note of maple syrup from the waffle doesn't really hurt the recipe, but it doesn't fit in either.
Originality: 4/5 -- Fruit infused tea for an Asian themed recipe is not the most creative approach, but the solid execution and risk makes up for that. It includes a waffle flavor. It's a fruit tea with waffle in it.
Inspiration: 4/5 -- This recipe was very close to receiving a 5/5 on inspiration. It really embraced the overall theme of the picture and tried to make something with a red/orange hue. The reason it did not receive that score is because there is no sense of three things being combined into one thing in the finished product.
Accessibility: 5/5 -- All of these flavors are available from BCF and many other vendors, and nothing used was insanely obscure. We would consider all of these essential except for TPA Belgian Waffle, but we're not allowed to dock for personal opinions.

- TPA Kentucky Bourbon at 3%
- JF Honey Peach at 1%

Description
This 40 minute timeline is fucking bullshit, but the Beginner Blending boys knocked it outta the goddamn park, as expected. The full name is above, but the user friendly version is simply Tesseract. This is a triple trinity mix, inspired by none other than Graham aka DigitalDrops aka ThatVegasManiac. He suggested a trinity trinity once, and I loved the idea. So here we have all three trinities, all using the same percentage in each. So the bourbon trinity is all at 3%, the Apricot/Peach trinity is all at 1%, and the cake trinity all at 2%. Jerry's psychotic ass decided to add 1% VT Golden Syrup in the final seconds of the timeline, but it adds some wicked sweetness/juiciness to the mix. Good on him for being a fucking idiot. There isn't enough time to dive deeper into this.
Three trinities, you can't fuck with us. This whole competition was making three become one, well, we made nine become three become one, so fuck you. CokeCan and DrunkLordGG out here.

Green Team Scores
Taste: 8/10 -- This recipe was a challenge to review for taste. It requires you to ignore what you know was added to make it. Overall it's a pretty tasty, boozy peach with some chocolate cake things going on. Some of the accent work seems a bit unnecessary and Apexified and I agree that it can almost certainly be simplified. Luckily for the Green Team we are not required to judge based on ingredients and then end result is super interesting and overall a well-balanced and delicious monstrosity.
Originality: 4/5 -- I know what you're thinking. This recipe is only getting a 4/5 for originality? It's a crazy Tesseract recipe and that combination of flavors is insane. Well... It's a boozy peach and that is not an original idea to one of the creators.
Inspiration: 5/5 -- So this is a trinity trifecta. Three parts all very distinct, yet they combine to make one finished product. Apexified would have given this a 6/5, but this team didn't utilize the subject matter of the painting so I'm planting it back at 5/5.
Accessibility: 1/5 -- I mean.. just look at it.

Blue Team Scores
Taste: 6/10 -- This is a pretty solid mix utilizing the fabled u/eyemakepizza ice cream trinity. The mix of berries presented is pretty tasty, but unfortunately it has an identity crisis. On one side you have a fairly realistic red berry flavor, and on the other a more dominant candy berry. We didn't receive a description of what it was going for, so it's a bit difficult to decipher if that was intentional. The balance of this recipe is also a detracting factor. The berry component really covers up the rich ice cream base underneath.
Originality: 2/5 -- Half of this recipe is the ice cream trinity created by someone outside of the team. The other half is a mixed berry component, which is a fairly common ice cream topping. It is an original and very interesting mixed berry layer though, which gives a bump to the originality score.
Inspiration: 2/5 -- As Apexified mentioned during our deliberation period, this is clearly a two part recipe. You have the ice cream and you have the mixed berry trifecta. I feel like this team leaned very heavily on the rule and neglected the inspiration picture a bit. The mixed berry part also gives this score a bump because it is a three part layer and the rule was followed.
Accessibility: 4/5 -- These flavors are all available from one vendor in the United States, but keeping other locations in mind we had to dock one point for the inclusion of HS French Vanilla Ice Cream. It isn't easy to come by for many people outside of the United States, and RF Yumberry is a bit of an obscure flavor.

>(FLV) Eisai Tea 1%
Sorry u/AlfredPudding, but I just don't see this one as being 5/5 for accessibility. I thought 5/5 meant even some greenhorns could mix it without an order. And I'm 260 flavors deep and just LEARNED of this flavor.
To me it meant that the flavors aren't hard to obtain and are used/reviewed well enough that they're not obscure/unnecessary to your average arsenal of flavors. Not saying that's correct, just that it's what I had in mind when scoring that category.
Thanks for explaining the logic even if I disagree. I actually am the same number of flavors from mixing both and I buy most of my flavors due to great recipes and/or great reputation, so my experience doesn't agree that green only earned 1/5 if this is 5. I admit though, reporting on green team made me a fan, but I don't think my bias is distorting my perception.
Just putting this out there... I had three times the flavors in my inventory to make the green team mix as team blue's... So really I think they're more accessible than 1/5. (Although I had as many flavors that were in team red's creation too...)
