Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! Don't forget to include manufacturers' names for all of your concentrates, and make your list easier to read by using bullet points or at least listing each of your flavors on a new line by hitting return twice after each flavor.
There are also a few resources in the sidebar where you can register a free account, input your flavors, sort by rating, and either mix something up or be inspired to make something with your ingredients.
Happy Mixing!
Newish mixer here! Would love to get some ideas from you guys. I have:
FA Blackcurrant
FA pomegranate
INW cactus
CAP Pink Lemonade
MB mint and eucalyptus
TPA Dragonfruit
CAP harvest berry
LA Lemonade
INW lime
FLV elderflower
RF lychee
INW mixed mint
TPA horehound
FA royal tobacco
TPA Vanilla swirl
FA fresh cream
WS-23
You could try something like
- FA Pomegranate 0.75%
- FA Black Current 2%
- CAP Harvest Berry 2.5%
- TFA Dragon Fruit 0.75%
I'd go something like
3.5% RF-SC Lychee
4% LA Lemonade
0.25% INW Cactus
0.5% WS-23
That should net you something of a sweet but delicate lychee lemonade with a little bit of the cactus adding some further wetness and the WS-23 just high enough to make it feel like a cold drink rather than an icee.
Awesome, I will try this! Thanks!
Start with something simple. Pink Guy
- 6% CAP Pink Lemonade
- 2% TFA Vanilla Swirl
- 1% TFA Dragonfruit
If you like that and want more but think it's a little boring, next time
Jazz it up with 0.25% of any of the following: Pomegranate, Elderflower, Mixed Mint
Or 1% of any of the following: Blackcurrant, Harvest Berry, Lemonade, Fresh Cream.
How is that RF lychee?
I'm trying to get a good sweet mango flavor, here are the flavors that I tried to achieve it: CAP Sweet Mango TPA Philippine Mango CAP Yellow Peach INW Peach TPA Peach CAP Sweet Tangerine INW Dragonfruit TPA Dragonfruit CAP Golden Pineapple Im always putting Sweet Mango and Philippine Mango together, but regardless of the additives, it always comes out muddy and dry.
EDIT: I'm also trying to mix something in the likes of Lava Flow
TFA Coconut Candy INW Coconut FA Coco INW Pineapple CAP Golden Pineapple TFA Strawberry Ripe (which I taste faintly) CAP Sweet Strawberry TPA DX Milk(?) FA Creme Fresh(?)
How much CAP Sweet Mango + Philippine Mango are you using?
I've never gone more than 4% with Sweet Mango. I usually do 3% and 1-2% Philippine.
Try 4.5% CAP Sweet Mango + 4% Philippine and don't bury it in additional flavors.
Pick one: 1.5% CAP Yellow Peach, 0.75% CAP Sweet Tangerine, 1% TFA Dragonfruit, 0.75% TFA Coconut Candy, 0.75% CAP Golden Pineapple.
Just make a small bottle and see how it goes. If you don't like it at all, it might be time to pick up another mango.
Will we have another one of these next week? I'm waiting on my order
Yes, this is a weekly thread!
Awesome, I thought this was just a feature for the weekly thread. I've still got juice behind thee ears as they say. I'm new.

How did you end up picking these flavors?
It's what the store had available. It's incredible hard to buy essences here. You either import from America and pay twice as much + to usd conversion, or you buy it here.
Some Bulgarian cream and you’ve got a decent fruity ice that’s not too heavy on the throat kick.
Bavarian Cream?
Yeah. I think mine is from TFA. Mix Menthol 0.5-1% depending on what level of menthol you want. Bavarian cream 1.5% Strawberry 2% Watermelon 1% Pineapple 1%
I made similar this week but with Koolada not menthol at 0.5%. And mango at 1% and strawberry at 1% instead of strawberry at 2% and I love it! 40/60 PG/VG ratio with Nic at 2.2mg.
Edit: re-read what you wrote, and you’re right. Bavarian cream. Sorry, my mistake.
Hey guys,
I actually have another order coming in, but my current bottle is almost out and I don't wanna go vapeless for a week!
This might be more of a challenge since I have veeery limited options:
- INA Cactus
- CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl v1 (not a big fan at all, though)
- TFA Marshmellow
- TFA Raspberry Sweet
- TFA Vanilla Swirl
Thanks!
Co. | Flavor | %
---|---|----
TFA | Raspberry Sweet | 2.5
TFA | Marshmallow | 1.5
TFA | Vanilla Swirl | 2
Thanks for the help! So you and /u/oajgaowj321khdnkanw (phew) both gave the same flavors, but quite different proportions. I'm curious why yours are so low? I'm used to mixing at higher percentages (still pretty new here) but I also have been dissatisfied with my mixes lately; are these flavors usually better at lower %'s?
Regarding your last question, as far as I know pretty much every flavor there is tends to taste less at higher percentages. Some flavors also contain a chemical substance that causes muting in your recipes if those flavors are used too much. So yeah, you're usually better of starting with low percentages.

Sorry if the lost is a bit busy - just thought it may be easier listing this way. I haven't had much luck with any creams or biscuit types through my journey, but don't know if that is down to dodgy ratios/pairings or my taste buds! I'm willing to try them again if anyone has any uses for the ones I have though.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :) Thanks!
How’s that tequila agave, sounds enticing. Nicriv not stocking it atm, otherwise I’d get it with next order
I'm in the UK so I got it from a vendor over here. I haven't actually tried it as of yet. I saw that 'DIY Vapor' (Chris) on YouTube had received it for review and he seemed to add it randomly to fruits. From what I've gathered it's supposed to be a top shelf tequila type flavour with the alcohol element. Might look at making some punch type drink recipes to see if that works. If it tastes nice enough I may just add it to anything and everything! Let me know if you do manage to grab a sample and let me know your thoughts and notes and I'll be sure to do the same! :)

7 days. Add cooling to taste, or don't
I've got a couple flavors I haven't found a good recipe for maybe you can suggest something.
- Dulce De Leche JF
- Gooey Cake Batter DIYVS
- Mascarpone Cream Cheese WF
- Lemongrass FE
Assume that I have any other flavors you would suggest to go with them.
1.5% Mascarpone
2.5% VT Chocolate Mousse
3% FLV Red Burley
1% FLV Connecticut Shade
Steep one month so after the mascarpone settles down the tobaccos can come back.
I’m looking for a nice currant type mix- here’s what I’m thinking but not sure which ration. This’ll be the first recipe I’ve developed on my own (with your help of course).
FA - Blackcurrant FLV - Boysenberry CAP - Red currant CAP - Cucumber INW - Cactus
1.5% fa Blackcurrant
2% inw cactus
3% JF lemon
Cooling to taste, I usually go .5% each WS-23 and FA Polar Blast. Sweetener to taste as well. The Blackcurrant is the dominant flavor in the mix.
In fact, 1% FA Blackcurrant will dominate many mixes, at least when there isn't a similarly potent flavor present. And it's a nice flavor. So you could try (assuming you have the flavors)
.25% inw cactus
.75% tfa honeysuckle
1.25% FA Blackcurrant
1.75% CAP hibiscus
Again, coolant/sweetener to taste. Shouod remind you of Ribena if you're familiar with it.
Very familiar with Ribena I was practically weaned on it.
I have all those flavour so will give this a bash thanks.
Also experimenting with making a blackcurrant lemonade using LA lemonade, although everything is coming out a bit harsh.
Heyo, new mixer here. I’m desperately in need of expanding my flavor repetoire, so feel free to give me some suggestions on things to pick up in my next order. That said, I’d love some ideas for new things to mix up with what (limited flavors) I have now!
-FA Fuji Apple
-FA Forest Fruit
-FE Lemon
-FA Lime Tahity (not cold pressed)
-TFA Mango
-FW Natural Blood Orange
-TFA Strawberry Ripe
-TFA Vanilla Swirl
.25% fa lime tahity
2% fa fuji
3% fe lemon
(Maybe add some orange And definitely get WS-23 and FA Polar Blast. And LA Lemonade. And inw lemon mix. And inw Raspberry shisha. And inw grapes. And TFA cherry extract. And TFA Honeysuckle. And CAP hibiscus. And FLV boysenberry. And inw cactus. And fa marzipan.)
>FA Polar Blast
How does that differ in texture from WS-23?
>LA Lemonade
Yeah, I was definitely thinking I need another lemon flavor!
>And TFA Honeysuckle. And CAP hibiscus. And FLV boysenberry. And inw cactus.
These were all already in my cart :p I definitely need more of those ambiguous ‘ambient’ flavors to tie my stuff together. Also a good fizz/soda type flavor. And I think some creams and darker flavors too.
Combining FA Polar Blast with WS-23 gives sustained cooling throughput. No texture to either, really. For 'fizz' VT fizzy sherbet is the best bet. For creamy flavors... VT banana custard, FLV coconut, FLV sweet coconut, HS chocolate cream, INW chocolate cream, WF pistachio cream, FLV cream.
Just got my first order in, looking to make a strong grilled coconut (think of actually grilling a slab of coconut, the sugars caremelizing and such)

- FA Liquid Amber
- CAP Coconut
- FV Smoked Butterscotch
- TFA Coconut Extra
- TFA Toasted Marshmallow

please help I don't know what steps to take next and I'm sick of paying $1/ml
Look up the grilled stick recipe from the year before last. I think it was a recipe of the year candidate. Read the development notes. Then ask more specific questions.
I found the recipe, how should I find what percentages and ratios to mic my flavours in? I'm vaping the CAP Coconut right now at 10% 3mg/ml no sweetener 70/30 to test it out.
You ned to use way less coconut. And a beter coconut.
There sbould be a FotW or two on coconut. Normally, people want a creamier coconut flavor, so I'm not sure which would be best for a grilled coconut, but I would probably start by subbing FA coconut for the pineapple in that grilled stick recipe, and then working from there. And I would probably start the coconut at around 3%, again adaptng as needed.
Bit of an odd combination, but if anyone has any ideas, please help! I’m happy to buy flavours to supplement the current ones

Well, you need some cooling, but a lavender sweet tea mix could work. And maybe a rose (or rose candy) lemonade. But without cooling they're a herbal tea with lemon and sugar, and a weird floral NeoCitran, respectively.
And cardamom/clove/earl grey would be a decent chai base. Assuming my memory is working. Earl grey might be unvapable, if I'm misremembering.
thank you! these all sound like the kind of things I’d absolutely love, what cooling additive would you recommend?
I def don’t find earl grey unvapable, but I think it would be better with a tiny bit of milk for a more ‘cup of tea’ taste- to me it’s like a strong cup of black tea, sometimes get a strange dryness that I get with black tea in general!
I typically rely on a blend of WS-23 and FA Polar Blast. If mint is called for in a recipe, I'll use menthol as well. As for tea, I tend to be a "maybe lemon, possibly a spot of honey" and that's all type. But I don't know of a good honey flavor for vaping.
4% Earl Gray Tea
1.5% Sweet Tea
1.5% Vanilla Bean IC
0.5 RY4 Double
I'm writing this from my memory. I had made something similarnto this and it turned out super interesting. I can't get to my notebook for a few days, but I'm 100% surten it had Earl Grey and Sweet Tea plus some Vanilla and Caramel (this is where ry4 is subbing in). Give this a shot with a week steep time.
Earl Grey solo is also amazing for me, it just gunks shit up real bad, as well as the recipe above haha
