Watermelon recipes?
submitted over 6 years ago by holymotherofcats

I will be using salt nic in a 50/50 blend. I want it to be more of a tangy watermelon, I'm thinking of using LA watermelon as a base, but I also ordered a few others. I like the artificial taste but I dont want that gross candy aftertaste some juices get, it almost tastes like alcohol.

My favorite is the u/vurve watermelon Crack clone that I tweaked a bit. Left out the mint and lowered the jungle juice a bit. Solid watermelon candy and an ADV for me:

FW Hard Candy - 3

FW Jungle Juice - 1.5

TPA Marshmallow - 1.25

LA Watermelon - 9.5

FW Watermelon - 1.5

FLV Wild Melon is nice. As is FLV Cantaloupe.

Have you checked out:

One of my first DIY recipes was some FA watermelon and Greek yogurt. I was hoping for a kind of "sour cream and fruit" kind of vibe, and it sortof worked, but back then I really had no idea what I was doing. I'd love to revisit this though.

This recipe is a great shake and vape watermelon.

Even better recipes: Stacks on Deck and Juicy J's Strapple Mint by /u/belikegrouch. Also, both have almost the exact same ingredient list. I find Water-malone to be dry, throaty, and expensive. It's unbalanced and I don't understand all the hype.

For a "tangy" watermelon I would suggest LA Watermelon Clear with INW White Grapefruit. Wonderful flavor pairing.

I don't think alcohol. I know LA Watermelon just had a nasty taste to it. I like alcohol, so that wasn't it.

Maybe I'll skip out on that then. I want something that doesn't taste washed out but isnt that hard candy grossness. Maybe like a watermelon airhead? Sour and sweet and a chewy candy.

Don't skip it, LA Watermelon is pretty damn good as well as PUR Watermelon.

Just make sure you get the colorless stuff. LA Watermelon is the flavoring that every company used back when watermelon was all the rage.

Obviously order a small amount first to test and see if you can taste any funkiness.

Good rec on Watermelon (PUR). It’s the one I prefer when not going like a Wild Melon (FLV) route in mixes.

Est it yourself. Some people don't get three different flavors of nausea from it, and they like it. Or you could try INW watermelon. Its supposedly prett realistic.

I don't know if it's been reformulated or what. But my INW Watermelon is really strange. I'd describe it as, it tastes like a deodorant fragrance smells. It's nothing like any other watermelon flavors I have.
