I'm fairly new to the diy thing but one thing is obvious, strawberries and cream/milk/ice cream/etc is by far the most common recipe out there. So I'm curious, which one do you like the most personally and why? Is it because of the simplicity? Complexity? Perfect strawberry flavor? Perfect creaminess? Mouth feel?
I've played with many of the recipes and so far I would say my favorite is God Milk because of the strawberry flavor and the way it melds with the creaminess and the simplicity. But that's just me, what about you?
God milk and turbo fog imo are great.
I've never seen turbo fog, do you have a link to it?
my bad fam. It's Strawberry Fog. The bad thing about this is it uses a LOT of TPA Strawberry Ripe. In this case, I think it's ok since the CGC is pretty high, and cheesecake needs a lot of sweetness to cut through it (even if it isn't sth like Cap NY Cheesecake). This is pretty great after a week of steeping, but some folks like it as a SnV.
The thing I like about this is it isn't spectacular, I mean it doesn't try anything fancy, except be as basic (but good!) S&C juice.
Edit: turbo fog is a mtg deck archetype that tries to stall early game with cards like fog or other variants lol
My fav S&C is a variant of this:
2% Bavarian Cream
4% Cheesecake Graham
8% Strawberry Ripe
2% Vanilla Swirl (instead of custard)
0.5% Sweet Cream (kind of binds Bavarian Cream to Cheesecake imo)
I mix this, fill up a tank as a SnV, then let the rest of the batch steep for a week or so. Reason being, I like it as a SnV, but I tried all day vaping it and it just got bold. After a week it's really great and ADVapable.
I'm still trying to find the best one.. I have TPA strawberry ripe, INW strawberry, RF strawberry, cap sweet strawberry.. any suggestions for a recipe? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on TPA and CAP's new strawberries too.
Mate, this won't do you wrong... let's call it:
Wimbledon
|Brand|Flavor|%| |:-|:-|:-| |JF|Strawberry Sweet|3| |LB|Strawberry Cheesecake|2| |FA|Cream Fresh|1| |OoO|Powdered Sugar|0.5%| |WS|23|0.5%| |FW|Menthol (Natural)|0.5%|

If you wanna go the cheeky underarm serve you can also add:
- IMW Raspberry 0.5% (brings an extra helping of 'red' to the party)
- FA Cold Pressed Lime 0.5% (adds a little juiciness)
If you're mixing this for an older subohm tank or MTL don't be afraid to bump everything up. You can't be sErioUs!~~
I make a clone of Boosted that my coworker and I really enjoy. I got the recipe from the eliquid recipe bible (quick Google search will get you the pdf). Lots of cool stuff in there btw. The reason I like the real Boosted eliquid is the heavy butter notes in the flavor profile. This is specifically because of the dairy milk flavoring from TFA. The name of the flavoring isn't what it smells/tastes like. It's literally a liquid butter flavor. Below is the recipe for a 100 mil bottle, convert to percentages and increase/decrease ratios as needed for larger/smaller batches.
For the unitiated (you said you were new to DIY):
TFA = THE FLAVOR APPRENTICE CAP = Capellas flavor drops (FLAVOR MANUFACTURERS)
7 mil sweet strawberry (CAP or TFA) 8 mil dairy milk (TFA) 7 mil vanilla cupcake (TFA) Couple drops of sucralose sweetner (optional)
Total flavoring is 22% volume of the finished product. Most recipes fall in the 15 to 20 % range for total flavoring.
Also, I use pre-mixed base from www.e-liq.com. I don't wanna deal with raw nic freebase and I'm lazy. I get it in 80vg/20vg @ 10mg nic per ml. A half gallon is $40 shipped to my doorstep. Once you "water down" the base with the flavoring it comes out close enough to 6mg for me to not make a difference.
Strawberry Milks, Ol'e Nessie (scroll down), and Slow Deicide are all great. Better than any S&C that I could come up with. They are all slightly different, and if I HAD to pick just one, it would be the first one. It is closest to my first love, Cuttwood's Unicorn Milk (before the reformulation ruined it). Straight Nestle Quik, if you add a touch of sweetener.
Any good S&C needs at least 2 weeks min aging to really come together.

Its mine, it wasn't what I was going for, but its really damn good.
Interesting, how does the kiwi effect the flavor?
