I got a VapeWild DIY kit for Christmas last year which was great to get me into DIY and I was actually pretty happy with it over all despite everything I've read about them. I haven't ordered anything from them since and would prefer not to but I haven't been able to find a sweetener I like as much as theirs.
I tried Cap super sweet cuz that seems to be the go to, but it tastes very artificial to me. Then I tried Flavor west's sweetener because it and Vape wild's both say they are just sucralose and pg but it isn't as good either. I'm hoping the Vape Wild one is just stronger than the FW so I'll experiment with that. I also got some Cotton Candy that I haven't tried yet but I'm guessing that even If I do like that it will be different and would like to have both in my kit. In the meantime though I thought I might as well see if anyone here has any insight on this.
You may just be using too much of the CAP. I usually use it around 0.3-0.5%.
All the sweeteners are just sucralose and pg. I think CAP is 20% sucralose, FW is 10% sucralose and TFA is 5% sucralose + 5% maltol. Cotton Candy is juts Ethyl Maltol, it won't give you the sweetness that you are looking for, maybe try TFA's one and see if you like it better?
Iirc people were saying vapewild's flavorings are just rebranded FW
According to the MSDS Super Sweet contains Water, Sucralose, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate. I figured one of those other things was responsible for the artificial flavor I was getting from that.
I believe they use some TFA flavors as well. And since that's the last man standing I'll concur and say it probably is TFA.
They all have different levels of sucralose and then it is the other buffer or filler compounds used that can set them apart. These same compounds also can contribute to coil gunking in addition to the level of sucralose
Give FLV sweetness a try, probably the easiest on your coils of the bunch with only 3 ingredients I believe. More of a smooth balanced sweetener where as Capella super sweet has the really sweet punch that can be useful for candy recipes.
I don't think they rebrand any flavor actually I'm pretty sure it's all their own.. If you watch twisted 420s video their operation is much much bigger than the other companies... Check it out here I think most people will be surprised of how stellar the company is.. I love vape wild I diy with all flavorings so I don't only use them but I feel like they always treated me great
