Today I achieved the impossible. I dug a Melon flavor that tasted and smelled like dish soap out of the garbage (literally, I had thrown it away a few days before I tried my first DiY), and a strawberry lemonade that was reminiscent of battery acid with a splash of bleach, and by mixing them made a half decent juice I called 'melon aids'.

I see people ask the question 'what to do with awful juices' occasionally, so I thought I'd throw out a successful example of turning awful juice into good juice. Because the flavors were so overpowering, I diluted them to half strength as well as combining them, using more of the lemonade flavor because it wasn't quit as pungent as the melon soap flavor. I ended up with a really nice blend that tastes vaguely like watermelon mixed with muskmelon.

For a minute I was worried that I was going to waste half a liter of PG/VG and end up with bleach dish soap, but it turned out alright and I doubled the original amount of liquid I started with. Not bad for trash juice, lol.
I've made that strawberry lemonade about 6 months ago, I determined those flavors do not belong together, ever. 2week steep was no good, 1 month no better....when I perfect strawberry candy, I'll drop a 1/2 ml into a larger tank and Vape it up.
I still have 27ml of the 30ml test batch....yuck.
What was the recipe? Strawberry lemonade is delicious.
To be honest it was way back before I bought a scale in November and it was made based on volume. I pilfered the recipe from one of the sites well known and it was way off...
Sorry I can't recall percentages, but it was supposed to be 70/30 and I didn't own a mod so I mixed it at 50/50. Horrible shit I did as a newb.
