> No recipe game this week. While a few have been awesome and resulted in a lot of fun and good looking recipes, a couple have failed to spark the creativity of the masses. /u/ID10-T, on the other hand, has no shortage of ideas which is clear from his participation and, ya know, the fact that he has 1300+ recipes on ATF.
>This week I’m just going to announce a giveaway happening over on the DIY_eJuice Discord on Friday. Come over and say hi, @ me and mention your reddit username, ask a question, discuss a flavor, get ideas for a recipe, etc. I’ll gather up all the names that are online and put them through a randomizer and the winner will get to pick 10 free flavors from the always generous and awesome Flavorah
#Highlights from Last Week
- /u/ecolii_ finally had an original recipe they felt was worth sharing and /u/EdibleMalfunction took a beating for pointing out the rule about front page recipes requiring development notes. But it’s kinda his job to do that, folks. And /u/ecolii_ followed up with some more and we all win.
- /u/Arpeggiator8472 released Püdio another excellent looking recipe with Pistachio.
- /u/XleaDrof gave us another 1-2-3 recipe “1-Blue-3”
- /u/eyemakepizza put himself in the HOT SEAT for the latest AMA.
- /u/RancerDS not only hosts a weekly thread for single flavor testing but dropped a full fledged review of PUR Sweet Tobacco as well.
- and shoutout /u/kuri_sanTou for all the recipe help in the “Suggest a recipe” thread.

#DIY Podcast Roundup This list will rotate through different podcasts either based on your recommendations or my discovery of new content last week. Only episodes released last week will be included. ###Here’s a playlist of all the episodes below
> According to /u/folkart2000 "We have assembled some of the most well-known and talented mixers from our community to bring you... DEVELOPED and DEVELOPED LIVE! DEVELOPED, released every Tuesday at 6:00pm EST, shows our recipe development process in action! It's a short 15 minute episode that's fast-paced, entertaining, and packed with information. DEVELOPED LIVE airs every Saturday at 6:00pm EST and allows the community to get involved in the conversation as we break down the recipe from Tuesday's episode." The show is also edited by our very own /u/AlfredPudding.
##Fresh03 > Fresh03 AKA Dustin Freshly is a prolific mixer and YouTube reviewer who not only appears on a variety of DIY shows but also hosts a couple notable and incredibly lengthy live shows with a large and almost all-inclusive cast of mixers you’ve probably heard of.
##Mixin Vixens > From Emily (/u/mlNikon) "Mixin Vixens is a diverse all female mixing panel on a YouTube weekly show that airs live Sunday’s at 6pm Eastern. Weekly we take pictures submitted by our viewers and each of us interprets the picture and converts it from a visual to a taste. After 4 rounds of mixing we allow the Man Team to critique our recipes and give us hell. Week after week we provide knowledge and entertainment. Month after month after we pick the recipe we want judged the judges come in knock us over the head and there is only one woman standing."
##Noted > The three hosts /u/mlNikon, /u/CheebaSteeba, and /u/ID10-T (and usually one guest) talk extensively about last week's Flavor of the Week. They each try a handful of flavors (or many more than that) and give their impressions while often sharing a few recipes that include those flavors.
##The Fog Vlog An ensemble cast of South African mixers who do live mixes, flavor reviews and mixer reviews where they review several recipes from one mixer.
Really people? I could have just removed that recipe post. Did I? No, I left it up and suggested some notes.
Thanks for the help, EM. I’m glad you pointed out how I could make my post better. Lemme know if you think my recipe is worth a damn… maybe some pointers?
You don’t have a mod flair and personality I hate non mods telling others to follow the rules. So I downvoted you.
I’m on mobile 99% of the time, so if you have something that shows you are a mod on a normal browser, can’t see it on mobile.
We have like 4 active mods here. You really don't know who is modding and who isn't?
Mod distinguishnent for comments isn't automatic. You have to go in and make it that way after you make a comment.
For anyone looking for a nice strawberry recipe, check out the Discord Recipe Channel Spotlight above - 1 2 3 Strawberry Cheesecake Fluff is a good one. A solid strawberry vape. As it's more about the filling you could add a touch of your favourite graham cracker, or even 0.5% FA Lime Cold Pressed to cut through the sweetness a little. A little banger!

The Monthly Clone Challenge is dead due to lack of participation. I replaced it in the top bar with /u/RancerDS weekly thread for single-flavor testing, with assurances of plans to keep it up.
Do you guys want to see the Hot Seat up there, too? Does anyone still use that bar as frequently as I do?
Sadly, I don't think most people even know what you're talking about.
Good choice.

There are so much juice choices nowaday, except for a few of the hyped ones chances are small anyone will have tried the same juice as someone else has, and for people mixing their own juice (besides flavorshots mixers) the chance is even smaller.
And don't even get me started on all the different flavourings there are nowadays. Producers of flavourings must have really fared well with the uprise of vaping.
So for this giveaway...
Is it occurring between any specific hours on Friday, or just a casual all day affair?
I mean, I'll be there regardless, but I'm sure someone out there is wondering.
Also, if that someone is you, come on over to discord! I've learned a lot in my time there. Primarily that mixers are equally witty and demented.
Completely casual. There's usually, what, 50-60 people "online" of the 300+ who've joined? Whichever people are in the online category will be the names I add to the list. Then I'll just hit randomize until your name appears on the top ;)
Hey. What happened to the weekly questions thread? Has it been replaced by the weekly Diy Digest? I don't want to clutter the sub with new posts that are only relevant to me and my questions or observations, or make it harder for others to see the meat of the information this sub has to offer
The post stickied to the top of the subreddit is the questions thread.
>"This thread is meant for beginner questions or simple questions where a whole post/discussion isn't necessary."
I understand now, gracias. Maybe other people who would like to get answers can take notice instead of making new threads
There's really no way to know who doesn't post because the answers are easy to find. But it's pretty obvious to see who is posting without reading the post titled "Read this before posting" ;) I generally try to judge the quality of a thread by the answers inside and not how many times their question has been asked before because good information doesn't always require good questions and can end up benefiting a lot of people.
