Simple 1-2-3 Sour Blue Razz Candy, ready for spring and summer!
After hearing AlfredPudding rave about WF Sour Ball Candy on Noted, I had to pick it up. It brings a sour note as well as rounding out the other ingredients to make it a single entity.
I'll be honest, I've never even used TPA Raspberry. It was sitting in my drawer, I was brainstorming flavorings for this profile, tasted it on the back of my hand, and threw it in here. I feel it compliments the WF Sour Blue Raspberry Candy well, and adds more sweet depth to the raspberry flavor.
WF Sour Blue Raspberry is such a good Blue Razz. Sour, sweet, and syrupy. As soon as I exhale, I want to pick it up again.
If you have the time and the flavors, please give this a mix and let me know what you think!
I can't find any single flavor reviews of sour ball candy. How much taste does it add just by itself? Could it be added to an existing recipe to give it a tart candy feel, or does it add some blue raspberry flavor as well?
I haven't single flavor tested it (unless you count licking it off the back of my hand), but it has a slight citrus twang to it. Alfred really sold this flavor to me on Noted, I'll let him to you all about it! Timestamped youtube link: https://youtu.be/PDmmVTNkDVA?t=1620
I randomly clicked on this and it sounds absolutely delicious. I mix flavors using one shot concentrates but this might be the first recipe I'm going to actually try making myself.
Is it as strong flavored as a premium liquid? Or a one shot concentrate? And how sweet is it? (I don't mind a good sweet flavor)
I love blue raspberry / raspberry and blue berry flavors and candy flavors etc. I find that there aren't enough good ones out there
I'm unsure how to answer the flavor strength question, other than just saying "yes"! It definitely is not under-flavored lol. It is pretty sweet, sour, and tart on it's own, but if you wanted it sweeter, half a percent of super sweet wouldnt be too outrageous. I believe WF Sour Blue Raspberry Candy already has sucralose in it, but if you're after that commercial sweetness, go for it! Happy mixing!
hey, if you still mix, am i able to sub tfa raspberry for tfa sweet raspberry or inw raspberry?
Hello, still mixing just not very active, very busy! I for sure wouldn't use INW raspberry here. As for TFA Sweet Raspberry, I honestly have no idea because I haven't tried it. Try a small batch with the sweet raspberry subbed in and let me know what you think!
