I'm not very good at describing recipes, like a lot of these semi-pros and pros on this subreddit. I'm also not using a flavor atomizer like a Psyclone or the Vapefly Pixie.
On my failed attempts to recreate Don Juan's Reserve by King's Crest, I decided to try and make my own thing, and I came up with this.
The butter pecan is the main profile in this, with a hint of cinnamon and a nice whole cream exhale. I'm not sure that it's exactly "ice cream," but I got an ice cream stone recipe from DIYorDIE, and it's the main cream flavor. I'd love some critique and scrutiny.
The reason I chose butter pecan as the main profile is because I really enjoyed Don Juan's Reserve. It's a dessert flavor without heaviness, but also being dense enough to stand. I added Cinnamon Danish Swirl to help it taste like those roasted nuts in the conical bags at fairs. I used the ice cream stone for a creamy flavor. The NY Cheesecake is mainly there for texture. I wanted to be sure that the vanilla flavor would be there to enhance the pecan, so I added the Vanilla Swirl. It tastes like a cinnamon pecan cereal milk.

- Butter Pecan (FW) 4.25%
- Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP) .25%
- New York Cheesecake (CAP) 1%
- Vanilla Ice Cream Stone [FVIC (HS) 2% & VBIC (FW) 3%] 5%
- Vanilla Swirl (TFA) 2%
Looks good, I’m short one ingredient tho. What is HS French vanilla ice cream? Can I sub another, such as Capella or TFA?
If you don't want to describe your flavors, please post to the Recipe Thread. Front page recipe posts need detailed notes.
It has some details. Is it not detailed enough?
