Püdio

DESCRIPTION:

A thick creamy Pistachio Pudding with the right amount of sweetness.

RECIPE:

FA ALMOND 1%

INW MARZIPAN 1%

TFA EM 0.5%

TFA PISTACHIO 3%

FLV VANILLA PUDDING 3.5%

INW SHISHA VANILLA 0.5%

STEEP 9 DAYS

VG 80%

NOTES:

Let's get the easiest stuff out of the way. I chose EM as my sweetener because it tends to thicken custards/puddings in addition to providing sweetness.

The pistachio portion of my pudding is formed with FA Almond, INW Marzipan, and of course TFA Pistachio. I purposely did NOT use FA Marzipan, as INW's version provides a more creamy feel.

Our 'pudding' base is formed with both FLV Vanilla Pudding and INW Shisha Vanilla. The INW SV adds a slight boost to the vanilla pudding which was very useful in this recipe.

STEEP: 9 DAYS

VG 80%

You're very welcome. It really needs the 9 day steep to become a proper pudding!!

I got 'er done. I had a hell of a time finding my Inawera Marzipan. For some reason I put it in my "Graham Cracker" drawer. I was about to abort the project but there it was. My PÜDIO, I'll make sure to give it 9 days ;)

This looks really yummy. I heard about EM in custards but never pulled the trigger. I'll take your word on this one. I'll do half with and half without, thanks for this one.

You're welcome:) Just remember to steep the 9 days. That's when it really becomes thick. I know I sound like a broken record saying that but the difference(between snv & the steep) is amazing.

Thanks for another wonderful recipe! Vaping this at day 16 and it's sooo good. Glad I have 30ml and wanted to get this feedback posted before the post closes. I wish recipe posts could stay open for 3 months...

Have you tried adding chocolate to this? Because it's screaming at me to add chocolate to contrast those sharper cherry/almond bits.

No I haven't tried chocolate! I say GO FOR IT and let me know how it it!!

I actually had no idea that posts closed after a certain amount of time.

Well I just finished my 30ml and remixed another one. I added 1 big fat drop of FLV Milk Chocolate and we'll see how it goes in a few weeks. Have you ever had a Cherry Blossom? Vaping PUDIO reminds me of eating those when I was a kid. :)

I would say to not omit it. But with the FA it probably wont be as creamy is all...hope that helps you decide :)

If I were to use cap or tfa toasted almond instead of fa almond at what% would I use any of these? Also at what % would I use fa marzipan? I wanna mix this up but i'm on a budget this month so I can only make do with what I got..
