Hello,

I would like to stop using Nic and use CBD instead (most likely isolate mixed in my PG/VG + Heinsenberg concentrate)
My question is : Does any of you found a way to use CBD in sub-ohm ?
My standard build is : squonk mech + RSA 0.16 ohm
I know this is too low to use normal CBD eliquid, but what if I use a much lower concentrate than my "usual" 33mg/ml ?
Any feedback or suggestion please ?
Thanks

EDIT - TL;DR : On my pod .5 ohm 20 W my 33% CBD eliquid is just fine. On my allday RDA setup .16ohm 80W it is not vapable. Help me figure out why and how can I vape CBD at 80W
Your No-Frills guide to DIY cbd ejuice
Thanks but that's indeed the guide I use to mix CBD, but my question is more about CBD with subohm than how to mix CBD
My bad, I assumed the answer was in there because I know practically nothing about mixing CBD. Is there some reason it's different in a subohm setup vs MTL? /u/isuamadog
Yeah I tried to vape this in my normal setup andddddddd that's whas definitely not enjoyable :D
I would guess it's mainly because MTL usually vape in the 5-25W range, whereas I vape in 60-80W range. And it might be because it actually "burn" the little CBD crystals. But I am for sure no expert, so I could be totally wrong. What I know for sure is 33mg/ml in my setup isn't vapable
I only got the job of writing it because I’ve done it before and it’s not really been covered here. I’m a regular mtl vaper so I never really looked into whether there are any issues as to impact on efficacy, safety, issues with higher watts etc. I mean, intuitively I’d say it’s like any other additive But since it’s a medicinal thing, the regular answer of try it and find out sort of doesn’t apply. I tried to avoid making any claims past “mix/shake/vape”. r/cbd may actually be a better place to ask this time.
I set my wife up a cheap aio for her cbd. With the price of isolate in the UK less vapor = less waste imo.
I haven't had a problem vaping cbd in my sub ohm. I use a round wire coil at .5 ohms around 22-26 Watts. No burning or distaste.
Yes me too, but I seem to have a problem when I go about 50-80W
50-80W seem high for a .5 ohm coil. Maybe try building lower?
I think you might have read a bit too fast or I might not have been very clear :
I do vape on a 0.5 ohm coil (LostVape Orion pod) at 20W : and here my CBD DIY eliquid is fine. The point of this reddit post is to help me figure out how to be able to stop nicotine and use CDB instead on my allday setup which is about 0.16ohm and 80W.
Have you tried to lower the CBD percentage for sub-ohm? Might be less harsh and vaporize better. Less molecules vaporizing at the same time, less risk of temperature rising and “burn” I m probably wrong.. this is just a hipóteses..
Central Business District? Wot?

I was obviously joking I've probably smoked more weed than you've pulled out of your mamma's garden, fuck off with this shit.
