Does anyone know where one can get unflavored vapable cytisine for mixing with ejuice as a nicotine alternative? I hear rumor that /u/CydianVapor used to sell it but I can't find any solid evidence of that.
Here are a few links with more information on cytisine.
You would probably need to buy pure cytisine and make your own juice. I doubt it exists in a vapeable form unless it's part of some proprietary smoking cessation thing.
Yeah it looks like only one person had tried this before. I wonder how one would make it vapable.
Well, from what I skim according to patent, it is dissolved in PG, then he adds whatever (tobacco extract and cocoa(!) in this case) for flavour.
Whether this is safe or not, dosing, etc, I dunno! Wikipedia link under "Recreational" and "Toxicity" suggest you might want to invest in a lab and have humane euthanasia on hand for your vaping rabbits.
Sigma-Aldrich.
Word, thanks. https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/sigma/c2899?lang=en®ion=US
I thought you needed to prove you belong to a lab in order to buy from there?
3x higher than placebo.. sounds pretty crap tbh. Also why risk vaping something there is absolutely no research on (vaping the substance that is). There is nothing wrong with nicotine, so why would you want to be dependant on a new un-tested substance?
Nicotine via vaping helps you stay off cigarettes, which is good. Nothing dangerous about nicotine.
I’m sorry but I am not interested in a conversation on the relative merits of nicotine. I am asking a specific question and only interested in that.
staybert asked questions pertinent to the community. I too am interested in why you are looking at this.
It has been shown to have a stimulating effect on the autonomic nervous system, increases the secretion of adrenaline and stimulates the vasomotor centre. Yet it has been proven to have less addictive properties than nicotine.
But again, I want to stress this, I am not interested in a debate concerning the merits of cytisine v nicotine.
Couldn't you take NAC and just vape nicotene free? NAC = N-Acetyl cystine, readily available supplement usually sold as a sports nutrition option
