Weekly 'Suggest a Recipe for my Flavors' Thread - Week of February 08, 2019

Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! Don't forget to include manufacturers' names for all of your concentrates, and make your list easier to read by using bullet points or at least listing each of your flavors on a new line by hitting return twice after each flavor.

There is also a few resources in the sidebar where you can register a free account, input your flavors, sort by rating, and either mix something up or be inspired to make something with your ingredients.

Hey guys I recently got my first DIY pack, I know it's gonna be a hard one to work with, considering the flavors, but I know y'all are some freaking goons at this.

I got all TFA Flavors.

So far I've made 2 flavors that I kinda enjoy, but it's not something that can be called 'good'.

Find a toxic waste dump (or, in a pinch, default to New Jersey) and send the TFA Honey there.

But other than cotton candy (useful as a additive) and coconut (which can go banana boat on you too easily) there's not a lot of great flavors there that'll work with each other. Kiwi isn't bad. Dunno how a coconut kiwi would work, tho...

That tfa honey is VILE. the Cheesecake works as a single flavor with a little bit of EM. 👌

I've made some good with the waffle, EM, and dragonfruit. Sounds weird I know.

Waffle cotton candy, cheesecake cotton candy, and I mixed up a kiwi dragon fruit mango that wasn't too bad either, all my own recipes.

I'm getting some of the more popular flavors coming in, about 10 new flavors to kick up the recipe options.

have you tried anything with these flavors before or maybe can recommend something you may think will go well?

Try 5% each Kiwi + Cotton Candy and also try 6% Dragonfruit + 2% Coconut.

The Honey should definitely go right to a dumpster. It's one of the worst flavors I've ever tried.

RY4 Double @ 4% + Pistachio @ 2% would be my go to.
A cream can always help, I never tried French Vanilla but 1-2% would be a good start point

Funny, my go to is RY4 Double @ 5%, Toffee Dream Cream @ 5%, and pistachio @ 4%. I have also played with putting vanilla Custard in it but I like it better without. Haven't tried the French vanilla yet, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Cool. I don't have TFA vanilla custard but from what I've read it is not the best option for a solid VC base. Pistachio has some cream notes on it So I believe that french vanilla could pair well... let us know how was your final result after a good steep.
Oh, btw, I've mixed a juice for my wife and I realized you have the flavors. It is a strawberry bubblegum:
6% Bubblegum juicy + 4% Sweet Strawberry + 3% Strawberry ripe. She is a pod user so I have to bump % to meet her liking

Where did you get TFA Chocolate Hazelnut from? (And TFA ~~Foot~~cheesecake is not something you need to keep.)

I'm guessing 'RockinDrops' just rebottles other makes. In which case, while a number are likely TFA, Chocolate Hazelnut is likely RF or LA, since TFA doesn't do that flavor. (Or they've discontinued it. But they don't do that much.)

I'm not much of a creative mixer myself, most of these I ordered specifically for certain recipes (a lot of them DIY or Die) but I was wondering if there's something else I can make out of these.

To be honest I like simple recipes and flavors, I can't find all the fine notes and details many seem to find in these complex 5-8 flavoring recipes.

I love wild melon. My standard fruit vape is wild melon 1-2/ sweet SB 3-4/ pink guava 2-2.5/ lime 1-2/ plus whatever else I’m feeling at that moment.

Maybe try wild melon 1 cap guava 4 pink lemonade 3? Experiment by adding sweet tangerine 0.5 or watermelon 1-2 or dragon fruit 0.25 or lemon Sicily 0.5 or cap apple 0.5-3 or cap lemon lime 1-2?

5.0 CAP Lemon Meringue Pie

I'm loving Grack juice atm but want to try some other mixes. I'm after either cool fruity flavors or deserts. I made custard king a while back but disliked it. Also Mustard milk just tasted like white pepper to me. Any suggestions on recipes would be awesome. A few of these flavors I haven't mixed into anything yet such as Lemon sicily, Honeysuck and Coconut. I use a geekvape nova with cerburus tank.
