As always, the purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a category of flavor and its many uses. And it's also to have FUN!
Post recipes containing this week's Flavor of the Week, as the star or in a supporting role, with or without development notes. Talk about other people's recipes that use it. Compare and contrast different manufacturers' versions of the FOTW. Ask for help using that flavor in general or to achieve something specific, offer advice, brainstorm ideas, consider substitutions, suggest pairings... really anything at all as long as it's on topic.
#This week's flavor is...Chocolate Cookies!!! (Oreos, Thin Mints, and Chocolate Chip Cookies)
How did that get to be the FOTW?
Honestly? Cookies week had too many flavors so I broke off all the choco ones and gave them their own week.
But usually they are requested! If you're not interested in the upcoming FOTWs, please take this opportunity and comment to request one that interests you (or send me a PM to do that). Please request something more suitable for June or July than Eggnog, if you do, your request can cut in line ahead of that one.
Past FOTW posts can be found here
The NOTED podcasts, which are basically video FOTWs, are listed on this sheet, maintained by /u/apexified

Can we move egg nog up?
No. Is this some kind of attempt at a joke? But, I could stop offering to kick that can it further down the road, to make sure people have plenty of time to develop any eggnog recipes they're inspired to make between Eggnog FOTW and eggnog season.
I can't wait for that episode. "hey guys if you use vienna cream right or combine these 5 flavors you get something similar to eggnog!" Oh shit you can just use flv eggnog. No episode needed!
edit: we don't talk about liquid barn eggnog.
/u/shyndo has thin mint cookies down with his Mint Chip Cookies and Cream. It's the only chocolate recipe that I keep coming back to.
In particular FLV- Chocolate Deutsch and FW-Creme De Menthe are the essence of thin mint cookies. It's incredible how close they smell to the real thing.
RF Cookies and Cream SC. /Thread
To show my dedication to the best oreo flavor of all time I have a recipe too.
\\Mixed at: 70vg\30pg
\\Steep Time: 7 days
MFG|Flavor|% :-:|:-:|:-: FA|Cookie|1.5% RF|Cookies & Cream - SC|2 HS|French Vanilla Icecream|1 FA|Meringue|1 CAP|Super Sweet|0.15 LB|Vanilla Ice Cream|4.5
I had been craving a cookies and cream vape over the past couple of months. So I started to get to work on it, I wanted to keep it simple enough without sacrificing the profile I was going for. I hope you enjoy this as much as I have. To the Notes!
Dat Oreo: In my oreopinion RF Cookies and Cream - SC has no equal when it comes to an Oreo flavor, it really captures the chocolately goodness that comes from it, but like a lot of base flavors it still needs a little help. So I brought FA Cookie and FA Meringue to the party. FA Cookie gives a bit more texture and FA Meringue helps with that good ole grainy and sugary white filling. FA Meringue also serves a 2nd purpose in this recipe by helping out our ice cream base.
We all scream for Ice Cream: I've been an enormous fan of TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream for a long time, but I know the biggest problem a lot of people have with it is a peppery taste. I really wanted as many people to enjoy this as possible so I opted for my 2nd favorite ice cream. HS/LB Vanilla Ice cream is definitely a bangin combo, with HS bringing that slightly musky vanilla note, LB bringing that heavy cream flavor, and a dash of FA Meringue to bridge the texture gap between them. FA Meringue is just really versatile, "It really ties the room together man"
CAP Super Sweet is in here just because this is an ice cream, it's meant to be sweet (I do about 1 drop/30ml, or 3 drops/60ml). This will still do great on it's own though if you're not a fan of adding sucralose.
Anyway, I hope you guys give it a try and dig it.
FLV Creme de Menthe equals a chocolate mint cookie. If you're really into the cookie-ness of a chocolate mint cookie vape, you could bump that with a bit of JF Biscuit (or a seriously tiny amount of INW Biscuit, that stuff is Potent), or your favorite little crunchy cookie note.
